"She would indeed with you as her father " Brooke replied
enjoying his kiss as he looked at her and rubbed her bump. "Now
how about we go to those quarters and relax a little " she said
looking back at him.

Jacob took Brooke's hand and said "Yes. You need it." He walked
her down the hall and to the lift. They stepped in and Jake
pushed a button to move them to their deck.
[B]Crew Quarters[/B]
He walked Brooke to a door and press a button for the door and
opened it. They stepped inside their 22nd century quarters.

Jacob smiled as he looked around their quarters. "As you can see
and as I said before, the quarters back then was small." He
chuckled.

" Indeed although I'm sure we can manage for now after all we
like being cosy " Brooke replied grinning at her husband as she
too looked around. There probably weren't many couples serving
together back then but that didn't matter to her and yes they
were small but had everything could possibly need to relax after
a busy shift. Letting go of Jake's hand she walked over to the
bed and laid down, happy to be off her feet " Very comfy, want
to join me" she teased.

Jacob held Brooke close as they kissed. Suddenly, the ship went
to warp and he smiled. "If you stay still, you can feel the
movement of the ship as it is in warp. That feel is something.
Wish we could feel this on our ships today."

Brooke stayed in her husbands embrace as he spoke about the ship
going to warp and could see how happy and content he was, his
love for Engineering and History even more evident as they
shared this moment. She kept still and sure enough she too felt
the difference as the ship moved and looked into her husbands
eyes as she answered him " I can feel it and its a shame we
can't on the ships of today but there is one thing that hasn't
changed the sense of excitement and wonder at where we could end
up or find once out in space".

Jacob looked in Brooke's eyes and smiled. "That's right." He
replied. He held Brooke close and doze off to get a nap in so he
will be ready to give more of the tour of the ship to his wife.

Brooke looked at her husband as he held her close and couldn't
help but smile as he then dozed off, it wasn't quite what she
had been expecting but at least they were together. Snuggling in
closer to him she settled down and it wasn't long before she too
dozed off.

The ship began to shake and it woke up Jacob and cleared his
throat. Out the window, he saw several small vessels surrounding
Enterprise.
