Brooke leaned closer against her husband just feeling his body
against hers as they waited for the crew to arrive. She knew it
would be the last time that they would be able to be close on
the Bridge until later and simply enjoyed it for a few precious
minutes before standing properly again.

Jacob cleared his throat as the loft doors opened and the crew
of the NX Enterprise made their way to the Bridge. They all took
their positions and Jacob smiled. "Shall I give you the
introductions my dear?"

Brooke watched as the crew appeared and took up their positions,
it still seemed a bit surreal being here aboard the Enterprise
but still looked forward to experiencing life aboard the ship.
When Jake mentioned introductions she smiled and answered him "
Yes please".

Jacob smiled and held Brooke's hand as he walked her around the
Bridge.
He stopped at the Tactical station. "Lieutenant Malcolm Reed.
Ship's Tactical and Security officer."

They walked toward the Helm of the ship. "Ensign Travis
Mayweather. Helmsman."

As Jacob walked her around the Bridge introducing everyone to
her, she felt like a kid at Christmas she had only read about
these people and now even though they were holographic versions
of them she was actually getting to meet them and it was all
down to her husbands imagination and their shared love of
History. " Pleased to meet you all " she said then leaned in and
whispered into Jacob's ear " This has definitely earned you a
little treat later, you never cease to amaze me with your
surprises".

"Sounds good to me Sweetie " Brooke replied looking over at him
as the lift started to move, she could tell how much this meant
to him and just seeing his enthusiasm continue made her heart
melt. Knowing that the lift would take a few more minutes she
turned properly and kissed him " Just a taster for later" she
teased.

the quarters of the 22nd century. Here's a hint. They are not as
big as our quarters of our century." He let out a small giggle.

Brooke grinned at her husband " I like cosy and intimate and I'm
sure we'll manage " she replied mischievously before kissing him
once more. She loved teasing him and knew that when they finally
saw the quarters she wouldn't be disappointed.

[B]Engineering Deck[/b]
The lift stopped at the engineering deck and the door opened.
Jacob held Brooke's hand as they walked down the corridor and
stopped by a door. "Here is where Engineering is." He pulled the
handle and opened the door revealing Engineering of the NX ship.

"As you saw, most of the doors weren't automatic like the turbo
lift door or the quarter doors. Also..." He points at the
reactor of the ship. "That is the warp reactor. The first ever
warp core. One half of the reactor is filled with matter and the
other half is filled with antimatter. At the time, they didn't
have a core able to combine the two as one. But it is till able
to make warp." He chuckled and smiled.
A man in a uniform with brown wavy hair looked around as the
ship was moving and his team working. Jacob then said "Commander
Charles Tucker III. Nickname 'Trip.' Chief Engineer."
