Brooke woke suddenly as she felt the ship begin to shake, her
head still fuzzy with sleep to fully be aware of what was going
on until she saw that her husband was also awake and looking out
of the window. " Jake what's going on ?" she asked wondering if
this was part of the programme he had created or if the Atlantis
was under attack.

Jacob looked at Brooke and held her. He then explained to her
the situation. "This was the Enterprise's first mission. A
Klingon by the name of Klaang was pursuit by a race called the
Suliban on Earth and was unconscious. Enterprise was to bring
Klaang back to Qo'nos so they can have him for safety and
protection. Along the way, the Suliban attack the Enterprise,
board the ship and abduct Klaang. We're at that moment now."

Brooke had to admire her husband's knowledge of the Enterprise
and her missions as she listened to his explanation. As her mind
became less fuzzy little snippets of information came back to
her from what she had read and understood what was happening.
The fact that they were actually getting to see this was
fascinating and smiled at him as he held her. " It sounds
familiar now and again you never cease to amaze me with your
knowledge about the subject and getting to experience it all
with you is just brilliant" she replied.

Brooke responded to his kiss enjoying the feel of his body
against hers even if it was for just a moment before they had to
leave. She smiled at him before replying " Good idea we may as
well enjoy every minute of being here " she said kissing him
again before shimmying out of his embrace " You'll get to hold
me again later " she teased as she zipped up her uniform.

the corridor to the nearest turbo lift and stepped in. He
pressed a button to take the couple to the Bridge.

Brooke held onto her husband's hand as the lift began its
journey to the Bridge where they would get to witness the
Suliban kidnapping Klang. Getting to observe a moment in history
was exciting and she wondered what her husband could do to top
such an experience but knowing him as she did he never failed to
surprise her.

Jacob rerouted the loft to Sickbay cause he had a feeling that
his wife wanted to witness the event when Klaang was abducted by
the Suliban. He then said "I'm taking us to Sickbay instead.
Cause that is where Klaang was placed when he came onboard so he
could be treated for his injuries."

Brooke looked at her husband for a moment when he announced that
he was taking them to Sickbay instead as she assumed that Klang
had been abducted from the Bridge. "Okay sweetie " she replied
smiling " that's very thoughtful of you ".
