Character Bio:
Born on January 8th 2349 in Aberdeen Scotland, Jakx was raised
by his parents. His elders both had futuristic views and always
looked towards the stars. He was taught with the idea he would
one day become an explorer, a traveller of the stars. With those
teachings the urge grew within Jakx to go to the stars.
During the years of the Dominion war Jakx hated he was unable to
do anything for the cause. He would spend those years studying
the strategies the Alliance used, trying to find improvements,
so that one day he would become an competent strategist.
Once at the age of 19 Jakx immediately signed up to the
Starfleet Academy, where he would spend four of his years
studying to be stationed on one of the fleet's vessels one day.
He would follow the specialisation courses of Fleet Operations,
and Fleet Medical.

Sample Post:
Today had been a huge day for all those graduating from the
Starfleet Academy. They had been handed a diploma to prove their
skills in the chosen fields of specialisation. There had been a
massive crowd mostly of family members watching the entire
ceremony, which up to now have been the most important days in
their life. They are the ones who have passed the entire course,
passing through all tests and challenges to prepare them for
service on one of the Starfleet vessels.
But what the real memorable part of the entire day would come
after the official events. It would be the party. Every single
graduating student would be invited, with enough drinks and food
to fuel them throughout the night. The sounds of music would
fill the ears of all those in the trainee quarters.
The next morning Jakx would awake the next morning with a
thumping headache and clothes smelling of booze, and sweat from
the busy night before. He would get up from the couch in his
room he had slept on without knowing how he got there. Hobbling
to the window he would open the curtains which let the rays of
sun shine inside, making his eyes feel as if they were burning.
His room was clear, with nobody else left behind, the only
difference he noted was that there was a message waiting for him
on his notification pad. Opening the message he would realise it
came from command, with the subject as 'Transfer'. In an instant
his mind was clear, staring to the text which was in the
message. This message changed his life, he had been given a
transfer order. Now he would be able to serve Earth and
Starfleet.
Additional information:
Ambition: To one day work at the Starfleet Command on Earth as
an officer.

Hey Jakx Forrester,
After reading your application, we would love to accept you into
the fleet as a cadet first class on the USS Endeavour!
As seen in our help files, you can see that all of our new
members start at either rank Cadet I or Crewman depending on
whether you picked the enlisted route or not. Both courses are
as rewarding as each other but also challenging at the same
time. This will allow us to test your knowledge through them but
also your writing skills too, both of which are important to
have.
