Josh looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "You're going to need
them commander, plus possibly a few others. We don't know
exactly how much this ship can run on its own. You'll need a
team of engineers with you."

Brooke knew exactly who she wanted to take with her when the
Captain mentioned the team of Engineers but there was still
plenty of time to work all that out once they found the ship as
there was still the possibility of them having to destroy it
first. " Yes Captain I suggest we scan the ship first before we
beam over then go from there, I'm sure my husband will be able
to sort out the team of Engineers so we're ready ".

Rebecca nodded at the request to stay and listened as they
spoke, "Will we have the away team on standby? Or is that too
preemptive? We don't yet know what we're coming up against. That
being said, will medical be assisting?"

the ship first, who ever you want to take on your team is at
your discretion."

Josh turned to doctor Garrett now in response to her question.
"Commander Edwards will inform her team when it becomes positive
that we will board the Windsor. I would like to send you along
with another member of your medical staff as a precaution if we
need to assist medical aide to the crew of the Windsor."

[Jefferies Tubes]
Having finally finished repairing the first conduit Jonathan
quietly moved onto where he thought the next one might be, not
for one moment wondering about why no one had called to ask why
he was taking so long. After a moment of going in the direction
he thought the conduit was, he paused to re-evaluate where he
was going. Wrongfully he came to the decision that he should
continue in the direction he was going and began to move on once
again.
After a few moments Jonathan reached what he assumed was the
next conduit set for repair. Opening the conduit, the young man
quickly scratched his head and sighed. For a moment he wondered
why the conduit was set for repairs, but quickly realized that
he must be at the wrong conduit and that he had been staring at
a perfectly fine conduit for much too long. After a moment of
silently berating for making a wrong turn, he finally began on
his way to the correct conduit.
After arriving at the correct conduit a slow sigh left the man’s
mouth. He new the brass would not be happy to read his report
after all was said and done. He certainly wouldn’t blame them
for being annoyed, at this point he’d taken much longer than his
estimated time. But honestly what could they expect out of
having sent a cadet into the jefferies tubes alone? At least he
knew he didn’t have to be here much longer. He only had a few
more to do after he finished this one and as long as he didn’t
get lost again the rest he could get through quickly.
Unfortunately he finally realized that he had let his mind
wander again and got back to his work on the conduit after
quickly straightening his uniform.

" Understood Captain, I'll have Ops and Science work together
on the scans then I'll arrange the away team once it's safe to
go over " Brooke replied her mind starting to work on who else
to bring along apart from a small team of Engineers and Medical.
" Chief Edwards" she said looking at her husband " I would like
you to choose your team now and prepare everything you may need
to take over with us that way once I call everyone we'll be
ready, same for you Doctor ".

of engineers for the away mission. Which probably includes him.
He was looking forward to this. He then replied "I can get my
team ready when you give the word."

seat and headed out of the Observation lounge and toward the
turbo lift. He turned as the doors closed on him. "Engineering."
He called out and the loft began moving to his destination.

Rebecca inwardly winced and watched the others depart. She
gently laced her fingers and rested her arms on the table. Her
mind got busy, not crazily so, but there was worry and curiosity
fighting for her attention.

Brooke smiled at her husband and watched as he left the room and
there would be plenty of time for them to talk later. When the
Captain spoke and asked her to take the Bridge she stood up from
the table and understood that he needed to speak to the Doctor."
Certainly Captain I'll see you shortly" she replied and with a
nod to the Doctor left the Lounge for the Bridge.
