Ensign Kelvan erected his posture and said, "Captain, I wanted
to personally report in to you before I began my shift. I
believe that is standard operating procedure."
The Vulcan engineer allowed his eyes to stray off his commanding
officer, to linger briefly upon the Bajoran operations officer,
and then back again to the Captain.

Josh continued to look at the Vulcan. "Very true but normal
practice on an imperial starship for non bridge crew members to
request permission or be summoned before entering the bridge."
Josh held up a hand, motioning for two security officers to
stand down from apprehending Kelvan. "Welcome aboard ensign.
I've seen your file before and I'm very impressed. You're going
to make a fine addition to commander Edwards engineering team.
Please go take your station. I'm sure they can use your help
down there with further repairs."

Brig
Brooke smiled at the Captain's response as he closed the channel
and turned to face the prisoners again "Maybe a little warm up
until he arrives that will show you that you chose the wrong
person to be loyal too " she sneered then looked to the Security
Ensigns " You know what to do or do I have to punish you both as
well ". Brooke wasn't in the mood for ineptitude or insolence
not now and luckily for the junior officers they would be spared
for now as they gave all of the prisoners an electric shock,
grinning as she heard their whimpers.

BRIDGE
Keeping an eye on the closing distance between the contact just
outside long-range sensors and the point where detailed readings
could be picked up, Ensign Oskin saw an indicator flash
repetitively in the corner of his field of vision. The power
loop that had kept Ensign Riggs and his minions sequestered in
the gymnasium had run its course. They were free again now to
resume their duties, roam the ship,prowl for their half-Bajoran
victim of choice and execute their revenge.
At this point, Alexander was relieved to find himself on the
bridge where it would be poor form for them to move against him.
In the back of his mind, he began looking for ways to protract
his shift.

Ensign Kelvan felt the pressure on his elbows diminished,
permitting him to erect his posture again. It was true, what
the Captain had said about his being on the bridge without prior
invitation, but it was necessary to maintain his charade with Lt
Singh.
"I am grateful for this dispensation Captain," Kelvan said when
the security officers had resumed their previous positions. "My
father had always spoken highly of you, I will see that your
gracious gesture would not go unnoticed."
It was a stretch, and the Vulcan was not at all ready to take
the truth for a run. He hoped the Captain would be too
preoccupied with whatever he was doing to pay any further
attention.

Josh thought for a moment of who his father was. "I can't think
of who your father is. I've delt with many vulcans sometimes
good, sometimes bad. But I'm heading to the brig, you should
report to Engineering. Maybe another time we'll discuss your
father." Josh looked over at the tactical Lieutenant.
"Lieutenant Rodgers you have the bridge." Josh then walked up to
Alexander. "Ensign if you identify that ship contact me
immediately." Josh then walked towards the turbo lift and
entered. "Brig." The turbo lift took off and moments later he
arrived. While walking down the hallway Josh was still trying
to figure out who Kelvan's father was. He came to the door to
the brig and pushed thar thought out of his head. He put on a
stem face and walked in. There he saw the prisoners being
tortured. "Well well well, it seems like you're all having
fun." Josh said not only to Brooke and the security officers but
to the prisoners being tortured. Josh pointed to one of the crew
members. "Bring him to me." Josh ordered. As the security
officers took each arm on the prisoner Josh removed his outer
uniform top and placed it on a chair. He then took out his
dagger that he took off a dead Klingon in battle. "Do you have
any last words before i pronounce sentencing?" The prisoner said
nothing but spit in the face of the captain. Josh didn't
flinch, nor wipe off the spit on his face. Josh quickly rushed
in and jammed the dagger in the prisoners stomach and started to
slice upward. The prisoner screamed as he felt the blade cut
upward in him till finally the screaming stopped. Josh then
pulled out the dagger and wiped the blood on the prisoners
uniform and finally wiped the spit off his face. "So who wants
to be next.?" Josh asked looking at the prisoners who was in
shock of seeing their friend brutally killed in that fashion.

"Understood, Captain," Ensign Oskin nodded. At least he would
not be relieved on the bridge any time soon, the half-Bajoran
thought. That was a good thing. He winced at the pain in his
ribs as he shifted in his chair. Also that would keep him from
seeking medical attention in the near future. From the scores
upon scores of beating he had received throughout his lifetime,
Oskin Alexander had come to understand and respect the
limitations of his body and of the pain he was capable of
withstanding. He had had worse, but only marginally so.
Alexander glanced back at the replicator and back at his
console. As he kept and eye at the distant sensor contact as it
slowly closed the threshold of definitive readinfs, he tried to
recall any medicinal foodstuff could be used at the interim.

Brooke wasn't going to deny herself as she revelled in the
prisoners pain as the Security Officers continued but knew that
the real fun stuff would begin once the Captain arrived. In fact
she didn't have to wait long at all before he appeared and began
his sentencing on one unfortunate but deserving soul, her blood
lust increasing with every second that she watched and could
only grin and sneer at the others who no doubt would suffer the
same fate. She certainly didn't want to deny the Captain his fun
especially after what had happened and wanted him to enjoy
himself and if she got to torture at least one of them then she
would be satisfied.

over the body of the crewman he just killed and walked towards
Brooke. "Go a head i know you wanna have some fun too." Josh
then took out the dagger once more and presented it to her
incase she would like to use it.

Brooke grinned evilly as Captain Shepard presented her with the
dagger he had used on the first traitor " You know me so well
Captain and it would be an honour to use this knife to have some
fun" she replied. " Bring the next one too me " she called to
the guards already feeling the adrenaline and excitement pulsing
through her body as another prisoner was brought out and placed
where their fellow traitor had already been sentenced. " Unlike
the Captain I like to play with my food" she snarled as she used
the dagger to slice into his arm, his whimpers only excited her
and continued to slice more of his body until he screamed as she
dealt the final blow.
