Josh nodded his head. Then he handed Kira a PADD with the list
of names for the promotion. "Have them report to my ready room.
We'll do it there before we leave. Then while enroute we'll
have time to celibate." Josh looked around the bridge. He never
thought he'd be in command of his own starship. "You have the
bridge....Commander. " he smiled at her and went into his ready
room. The doors opened and he stepped in. He walked behind the
desk and sat in his new chair. He began going over his command
codes, making sure he has them memorized, then focused on Elihu
M'Konel service record.

Bridge
Kira nodded and gave Joshua a grin. "Aye captain, I'll send both
of the Edward's to you first." Kira sat herself into the cente
chair and then looked at the PADD she had in her hand. It read
the promotions of everyone to be promoted. With that she tapped
her combadge. =^="Wyman to the Edward's, could both of you
please report to captain Shepard's office immediately.=^= She
put her hand onto the arm of the chair and smiled and then put
her head back slightly.

The Edward's Quarters
Brooke had just gotten out of the shower and was in the middle
of getting dry when her commbadge chirped, she looked at her
husband with a slightly puzzled look before reaching over and
picking up off the bedside table. =/\= Understood we're on our
way =/\= closing the channel, she put the badge down and turned
to her husband. " I wonder what's going on then again we'll find
out soon enough " she said as she finished getting dry and
started to put her uniform on. With no time to really dry her
hair she did the best she could before pinning it up " Well will
I do " she said grinning.

Jacob put on his uniform after he heard his comm badge go off.
He looked at Brooke and smiled and replied "Hopefully, we'll see
when we get there. Should be exciting." He put on his loafer
shoes and helped Brooke into her uniform. "There you go."

Captains ready room
Josh was sitting at his desk going over the crew files. He
already assigned his brother as chief of security, but he still
needed to find a operations department head.
Suddenly a message from Starfleet command appears on his screen.
"Captain Shepard this is Admiral Cobb, first of all i would
like to congratulate you on your promotion. I know the Atlantis
is in good hands. I'm sorry that you won't have much time to
celebrate. As you know captain Sharpe and Commander Dyson have
been reassigned, but however we still have that issue on Hawking
Colony. We need you to assist and help defend them. We lost
contact with them nearly three hours ago, you're authorized to
exceed warp limits. You'll do just fine, god speed captain and
good luck."
Josh sat back in his chair and let out a long exhale. =^=Shepard
to commander Wyman, set course for the Hawking Colony warp 9.7.
I'm still waiting for the two Edwards, please get them in here
so we can get to work. Shepard out=^= Josh went over to the
replicator. "Water 3°celsius." He walked back to his desk and
took out two oak boxes with the Starfleet symbol on it and
placed it on his table and sat in his chair once again.

Kira stood up from the center chair and took action on what
Joshua said. "Helm, set course to the Hawking colony, warp 9.7,
we need to be there nice and quickly so let's pick up the pace."
She finished tapping her combadge. =^="Wyman to Shepard, course
set, the Edward's should be on their way to you now."=^= Kira
knew that if the Edwards started to do this regularly she'd have
to tell them to pick up the pace, despite not wanting to she
knew it was part of the job and she was sure she'd make some
enemies.

"Thankyou babe, we better get going we don't want to be late "
Brooke replied giving her husband a quick kiss before taking
hold of his hand and leading the way out of their quarters for
the nearest turbolift. She was still curious as to why they had
been called to the Captain's ready room but like they had both
said they would find out soon enough. At least she didn't feel
as tired as she usually did thanks to the medication that had
been prescribed at her checkup and the picture of their unborn
daughter had been given pride of place in their living area.

Josh heard Kira call for him, informing him that they are
underway. =^=Thank you commander. When they arrive would you
please follow them in here.=^=. Josh stood up and turned to
stand near thy back window watching the stars and planets being
passed.

" I hope so too whatever it is I'm sure it will only be good for
us and this little one" She replied smiling as she placed her
hand over her bump. Truth be told she was just glad they had
been called together that way she wouldn't have to wait to tell
him the news and it was something that they would be able to
share whatever the outcome. It didn't take them long to reach
the Bridge and as the lift stopped she took squeezed her
husband's hand "Whatever it is remember I love you" she said
before the lift doors opened.
