Jacob sat at the Engineering console at the Bridge. When the
Captain asked for a status report, he replied "Engines are at
maximum efficiency. Ware core is in good condition. All ship
systems are nominal. I made certain of it ma'am."

Bridge
Kira was working at the operations station when her
concentration was broke by the call of 'report'. She looked up
and sighed quietly. She wasn't too inpressed by the call;
especially since she'd been working on reports and paperwork.
Despite the apparent amount of paper work, ops had been quiet.
She smiled at the captain then begun to speak. "Nothing has been
picked up on the long range sensors as of yet captain. Things
are all quiet here." She finished, looking back down to her
work and trying to find the spot she was working on. She sighed
when she couldn't remember what she was writing and sat trying
to figure out what she was going to put.

Bridge.
Maria let all the reports sink in from the various people on the
Bridge.
"Keep watching for any variations in the reads and inform me of
any change." She said then turning to B'Ozian. "Put a meeting
together for all the away team as soon as we have some sort of
reading from the planet. I don't want to beam anyone down
without being able to see what they're going into." She
finished, then sitting back down into the Command Chair.

Bridge
Jaden was seated at the helm when he heard the new captain's
request for a status update. He had quietly relieved the officer
that had been on duty a while ago and did not make his presence
on the bridge that well known. It was his preference to keep a
low profile.
"Captain," the flight control chief said as he looked over the
console in front of him, "everything at the helm appears to be
functioning properly. We are making our approach at full
impulse."
He then hesitated a moment, not sure if his input into their
current situation would be desired. Deciding that as the one
responsible for flying the ship he would speak up, he added, "I
would recommend that once we are close enough to the planet that
we maintain a high earth orbit, as we are not sure how the
planet's atmosphere may interact with the ships systems."

Bridge
Josh tapped his communicator. =^=Ensign Robert's please report
to the bridge. =^= Josh made sure all of the systems was fully
functional before he handed off his position.
A few moments later ensign Robert's arrived on the bridge.
"Take your station ensign, all systems are in the green.
Continue scanning the system and make sure you report ask your
findings to the captain. " Josh then left his station and walked
up to Commander Dyson. "Sir with your permission I'll head to
the transporter room and assist my brother with gathering all
the equipment."

and turned around to his console and kept an eye for any changes
or fluctuations in any ship systems.

Bridge - Science
Whilst she waited to join the away team, Brooke had instructed
her team to continue with sensor scans of the surface below
especially with the readings picked up by Lieutenant Shepard.
She wanted to make sure that everyone was prepared and that the
department still ran smoothly with her being away from the ship.
When she heard her husband's voice she looked over at him at
Engineering and smiled, she still had to tell him about her
visit to Sickbay and the news they were having a girl but knew
that would have to wait but at least for the time being they
were both in the same place for once.

2 Days Later...
Starbase 378 - Outside Fleet CO's Office
It had all happened so fast... And so quickly. The CO and XO had
been called away called back to the starbase, both for different
assignments and there the crew was with no Commander or
executive officer. She looked and smiled at Joshua, who had just
left the office with her. "That was interesting.
Congratulations, captain." The grin on her face wasn't hard to
conceal and she happy for Joshua. The whole news had come
quickly and they had been called to resume the mission they were
set for. She looked at Joshua and then continued. "So, we need
to make some promotions then because spots are becoming bare and
we are already missing a head of science and engineering. And at
this rate we are going to be lacking a head of OPS. I can
continue to help with that but there's only so much I can do. We
better head back to the ship." She finished as they walked into
the turbolift.

Starbase 378
Kira's face lit up slightly at the prospect at being promoted.
She never expected it in a million years and thought he would
pick someone more qualified... Much more qualified. "Th... Thank
you. It means a lot to me." She smiled at him and then
continued. "As for get our crew... I think we can do that."
Excited, Kira walked into the turbolift and waited for Josh to
follow her in.
A few moments later...
Bridge
It hadn't taken them long to get back to the ship. She had
quickly changed into red and had put their third pip on her
collar. Ready to begin, she looked at Josh. "Shall we start
pulling people into your office, get it done nice and quickly
and we can be ready, on our way." She finished gesturing towards
his office.
