Maria smiled and whispered back "Who's not relaxing?" and
laughed quietly before asking B'Ozian "Will we be needing an
away team do you think?" Before he could answer, she added "In
fact, could you put one together anyway, so we are well
prepared, please?"
Standing up from the seat, Maria looked around the room.
"Commander Wyman, can you check the deflector array and power
distribution? Lieutenant's Shepard, can one of you check the
weapons, while the other makes sure they are ready for us to use
if or when we need them. Ensign Edwards, can you look through
any database's we have for information about the species? Ensign
M'Konel, can you please do an evaluation of B'Ozian and his
decission to stand down... Also, can you be checking for anyone
that doesn't have confidence with the change in chain of
command."
Looking around the room, she noticed the only person she hadn't
spoken to was the Helm's officer.
Walking along side him, she asked "How long until we arrive at
our destination?"
"At our current speed, about six hours away Ma'am." He stated.
"Thank you Ensign." She said to him, then walking away from the
console.
Tapping her comm badge she said =/\=Bridge to Engineering and
Sickbay. Please can you check all systems, so if we get
attacked, we know everything is prepared.=/\= She pausedf to
take a breathe, before adding to everyone, not just Engineering
and Sickbay. =/\=I'd like all reports ready in four hours time
please. Sharpe out.=/\=

Jacob looked up when he heard the call from Bridge. He smiled a
little and nodded. He looked at his staff "You heard the lady
people. Double check everything. I want this ship ready for
anything we come across out there." He clapped his hand and
jogged over the place making sure everyone was doing their
thing.
Jake began checking the EPS conduits.

Bridge
Brooke had heard the announcement regarding the change in
command and was happy for the new Captain, B'ozian had always
been a supportive and understanding friend to her and thought
what he had did stepping down was all part of who he was and
always ready to help and give others their time in the
spotlight. When the Captain asked her to find as much
information as she could pertaining to the colony, she looked up
from her station to acknowledge the order " Aye Captain , I'll
also get the Lab to search too " she replied and turned back to
her console. She immediately sent down a message to her staff in
the main lab then got to work searching all known databases.

Josh nodded to the new captain. "Aye captain." Then turns
towards his brother. "KnodwI head down to the armory and give
me a complete list of hand phasers, rifles, and anything else
in our arsenal. You know that area better than anyone. I'll run
a complete system check on our defenses, plus an inventory on
our photon torpedoes. Take crewmen Rodgers and Williams with
you, they stay down there more than you. I'm going to assign
teams to go to each deck and section to test the force fields
and also the brig. That will take the longest." Josh quickly
turned his attention to his panel and began running his system
check.

"Thank you Mrs. Edwards." she said, then hearing Joshua respond
to her.
Walking towards B'Ozian, she asked, with a smile, "Can I speak
to you please Commander?"

Ensign M'Konel was more than a little confused. He'd sensed
something with the two command officers, but he didn't expect
a...reverse coup? That was the best way he could explain what
had just happened. He found it difficult to imagine Starfleet
ordering this change in structure, and when Sharpe had given the
order to evaluate B'Ozian and the crew, he nodded in agreement.
Such an evaluation would be expected, especially under such
strange circumstances.
As he turned to his console to log the future eval, he heard
Sharpe speak again.

Clearing his throat, M'Konel leaned forward in his chair, eyeing
both commanders. "I'd like to talk to you as well, er, Commander
B'Ozian, either as soon as the new captain's finished with you
or during, Sir."
Elihu's eyes darted from B'Ozian to Sharpe, his expression one
of concern and restraint. He clearly wanted to find out just
exactly what was going on, and why Starfleet protocol in rank
reduction and promotion was not seemingly being followed. This,
Elihu concluded, was highly unorthodox and he was worried about
both the crew, and the Caitian first officer.

Jaden's Quarters
The officer looked in the mirror as he smoothed out his uniform.
He had just put it on and there were several wrinkles that would
not seem to go away. Usually Jaden did not have that issue with
his uniform; however, it seemed that he would have to deal with
the inconvenience of having to keep the wrinkly uniform on while
a perfectly good one sat in his closer, as he was over due to
relieve the ensign that was currently manning the helm.
He smoothed the uniform down one more time as he looked around
his quarters and realized that he seemed to be quite alone on
this ship. There were not many people that he had been able to
meet and it was his habit to keep to himself. Too many friends
had been lost in the war and he did not relish the idea of
getting close to new people, as they would more than likely just
got lost in the future.
"Well," Jaden said to himself with a sigh, "there's no time like
the present."
With that the Flight Control Chief walked out of the doors of
his quarters and to the turbolift that was down the hall. When
the doors to the lift opened, there was no one there, which was
rather unusual, and he stopped on in. With a quite growl, he
said, "Bridge," and the lift took off.

Ensign M'Konel did not hesitate to stand up and follow Captain
Sharpe once she invited him. He fell in behind her, hands
clasped behind his back as he nervously rubbed them together. He
kept his eyes averted and downward, a sign of submission he'd
picked up from a summer on Romulus; having felt sorry for a
Reman servant he'd met on leave from the Academy, he and his
best friend took on his mannerisms as a sign of respect. Some of
those mannerisms, especially due to their mutual
telepathic/empathic nature remained ingrained in Elihu even
after he'd departed from Romulus.

Bridge
Kira was working at the operations console, on the task given to
her when the new captain had told her she had tbe bridge.
Nodding nervously, Kira stood up and made her way over to the
command chair in the centre of the bridge. It wasn't the first
time she'd been asked to do this but she felt awkward since
everyone didn't know her. She hadn't look at the roster herself
yet but the only person she knew was Joshua.
Kira sat herself down in the centre chair and looked around the
room then gazed out the view screen and kept herself quiet. She
was looking forward to being on the Atlantis.
