Josh was looming at his counsel when he heard a female voice say
"guess who. " Josh had a puzzled look on his face. No, it
can't be he thought to himself. When he looked up, he saw
Kira Wyman. A smile grew over his face, he hasn't seen her in a
long time. She hasn't changed a bit aside from the rank. Josh
cleared his throat and spoke in a joking manner. "Well, welcome
aboard commander. " which commander was said almost like a
question. "Wow congrats on making commander, you know i saw
your name on the new assignment roster but it didn't dawn on me
that it could've been you. It's great to see you again. We
need to catch up when we get off duty. That is unless you're
busy." Josh said with a little joke behind it as he just regaled
that she has also been made as second officer.

Bridge
Kira smiled at Joshua and grinned as he made his comment about
getting promoted. "Thank you. It came as a shock to me when I
was told about the promotion, and I always have time for old
friends. Whenever you're free, I can make the time. You'll have
to give me a tour around the ship, I only just got on board a
while ago." She finished.

KnodwI finally made it to the bridge, after making a quick stop
to his quarters to change out of his uniform and get a cleaned
one. After cleaning weapons in the armory a uniform got quite
dirty. He went to his station at Tactical two and started his
routine of scanning for vessels on long range sensors.
He looked over at his brother staring at the Chief of
Operations. He thought to himself, get your mind on your work.
Then he come up with a better idea.
He gave him a slap on the back.
Pay attention brother, someone could have gained access to the
bridge while you were distracted, Think like a Klingon.
Then he went back to work.

Bridge.
Maria had simply smiled back at Wyman and then turned to
B'Ozian. With the ship well underway, Maria decided that the
time was right to ask about their mission plan.
"Where is it that we are heading sir?" She asked B'Ozian hoping
he would elaborate on what to expect and so on.

Josh wasn't startled by his brother. He could hear his heavy
footsteps approaching. "Well dear brother that's way my phaser
is set to the highest stun setting. Care to find out. " He said
jokingly then turning his attention back to Kira. "Of course,
once we get off duty I'll show you around. Well you should
probably check in with the captain and Commander Sharpe. We'll
catch up soon." Josh said as he nodded his head to her then
turned his attention back to his counsel.

Bridge
Kira looked to the Klingon, who had slapped Joshua on the back
and spoken to him. She remembered him mention something about
having a Klingon brother, but he never mentioned the man much
and thought it might be just one of his good friends. She smiled
at the Klingon and gave a small nod. They scared Kira, it
sounded strange since she was meant to be tactical, but she was
only 5"6' and the Klingon seemed to tower over her. She hid her
fear behind the smile though, and then looked back to Joshua.
"I enjoyed catching up with you too, oh yeah, and I'm counting
on that tour later. Don't let me down." Kira said playfully as
shr grinned at him and then turned away and made her way towards
the CO and the XO. 'This is certainly going to be an interesting
posting. To be honest, I think it already has begun.' She
thought, smiling to herself.
Kira stopped a few steps away from the command team, transfer
orders in hand, and took a breath before storming in. She knew
that first impressions were the most important. Something she'd
learnt the hard way, during her time at the academy. "Captain,
Commander... I am Kira Wyman, your second officer and chief of
OPS. Here are my transfer orders." With that, Kira handed her
transfer orders to the captain and smiled. "I'm looking forward
to serving under you, I've heard great things about you." She
finished.

Bridge
Ensign Elihu M'Konel, the ship's counselor, had been a member of
the crew for a little under a month, and already had developed a
reporte with each member. Being empathic, he could usually
project a sense of familiarity to anyone he came into contact
with, making even strangers feel comfortable with him. However,
with this crew, he did not require such a deceptive tactic, at
least not usually.
Elihu had become good friends with the Shepards, often joining
them on their tactical and security exercises. Though the
counselor was well-versed in several martial arts and security
procedures, his skills had become nearly as advanced as any
security officer on the ship thanks to the two brothers.
Thankfully, he had not needed to test it in true combat, only
the holodeck.
His time on the Atlantis had also afforded him the special
ability of being able to sense the emotions of the crew
ship-wide. He felt Brooke's anxiety, Booth's mild concern,
Wyman's fear of the Klingon (though he didn't think there was
anything to worry about there), and a host of other emotions,
but he knew where they were all coming from, so they didn't
bother him much, and there were no outward signs that he was
experiencing so many emotions. This would have been odd to the
crew, since he was obviously part Vulcan. Indeed many people had
wondered why - or indeed how - a Vulcan would be a counselor. He
had merely explained that it was something he felt he needed to
do.
Admittedly late to the bridge due to having to console a
self-doubting crewman, Elihu walked over to his seat by the CO
and XO, nodding to both of them. "Crewman Luxx will be fine," he
reported. "He's just a little unsure of himself ever since he
accidentally damaged that conduit last week."

David smiled and turned to a Nurse, who stood nearby and passed
her a padd with the medication request for Brooke. Turning back
to Reynolds he held the probe over the Ensign's abdomen and
turned the main part of the device where she could see the
screen. A moment later an image of something pink and orange
began to form. It wasn't difficult to see what it was, but Booth
pointed it out anyway. "There's the head, that looks to be a
leg."

out the head and leg, speechless for a moment as she tried to
take it all in and it finally sunk in that she was seeing her
and Jacob's baby. She wished that her husband had been here to

"Of course." David replied nodding to a nearby machine, he
hadn't bothered to wait and see if a picture was wanted. Most
parents asked, in fact Booth couldn't recall anyone not asking
for one. "It's already printed over there."
Allowing Brooke a moment to observe the picture, the Doctor
closed the tricorder and placed it on the side trolley. "So
remind me, you wanted to know the sex of the baby?"
