CO position available

Ladies and Gentleman
I will be stepping down as CO of the Endeavour at the end of the
current mission. I've ran a SIMM since September 2015 and would
like a break!
We will need a new CO. In the interests of keeping it fair, we
are opening the position to all current players. Simply reply to
this topic answering the following questions. There will then be
a public vote.
Why do you want the position?
What qualities would you bring to the position?
What relevant experience do you have?
Any other comments?

Why do you want the position?
I think the site would benefit from my experience, outlook on
role-playing, and constant insistence on inclusion and
storytelling over politics. Beyond that, I'm active, passionate
about the site, and think I role play at least half way decently
;-)
What qualities would you bring to the position?
I love storytelling. Star Trek, to me, has always been about the
kind of fantastic stories you can tell with the technology and
premise presented. I LOVE that (those of you who were on the
Fleetwood will recall the space whale and space race missions).
Having started as an enlisted officer one thing that has always
been forefront in my mind is inclusion. Plots need not only to
be good but inclusive. That means everyone. Not just the CO/XO.
Not just all departments. Everyone. Bar none. If you have 15
people on the ship- you need to make sure 15 people got tags by
the end of the mission (either by the Captain directly or on the
Captain's order). Inclusiveness also includes a voice. We are
jointly telling a story- not following some rigid military
structure. You speak, we listen. That is how a command staff
needs to run and that's something I bring to the mix.
What relevant experience do you have?
I acted as SO and XO on a number of ships on both the previous
site and other SF sites. I eventually served as CO for a time on
the Fleetwood. In my personal life I am very close to completing
my Masters in Business Administration (think of it as "project
manager/site admin- the graduate level degree). I've also run or
help run dozens of sites, some big and some small.
Any other comments?
Droba is not the best choice as a character for a CO position. I
would either retire her or move her to alt status and have an
appropriate new character written up.

Why do you want the position?
The reason that I want the position is that I would like to be
in a postion of Leadership and given the experence I have I
would like to bring things to the table to make the Endeavor
thrive and become a strong force within the Fleet.
What qualities would you bring to the position?
I would bring my style of Leadership that many have come to know
and love; I will continue with being fair towards all members of
the SIMM also I have been known to create interesting
storytelling that would give the crew the want to complete a
mission with various ideas; I also created and co created a few
races and also added a new mythos to Cannon of known species;
What relevant experience do you have?
2004-2007- SIMM CO/Task Force CO-Expansion Fleet
2007-2016-SIMM CO/DH/Site Admin "Other Site"
2008-2010- SIMM XO- U.S.S Lincoln (Disbanded)
2012-2014-SIMM XO-U.S.S Eclipse (Disbanded)
Any other comments?
Yes I know that I am also a Site Adminstrator but I would like
the chance to run a SIMM again with all my ideas and creativity
there in.

Why do you want the position?
Why would anyone want to be captain. Command of their own ship,
the ability to help members more than most. To form a ships
crew in my own image. I would love to contribute more than what
i have been to better help the site grow.
What qualities would you bring to the position?
Leadership skills, an ear to listen, a hand to help, and a
mind for some great role playing. I have created storylines on
past sites, some that has went on for over a month at a time,
depending on how many posts other members post and how it's been
recieved. I have even managed to save SIMM's (not here) from
growing stale and inactive.
What relevant experience do you have?
I've been on several ST sites, a few of them i gained rank,
made XO and then finally CO, the sites went under because of
differences and fighting between members to where the site admin
disbanded the site. I have also created a few ST sites myself,
one carried on for 6 years before lack of activity forced me to
shut it down, but i still have another one up, but the numbers
are low there as well.
Any other comments?
I'm very active and post in and outside of missions. The only
thing that will change is me posting more and more due to the
requirements that being an CO requires.

Why do you want the position?
I would like this position because I think i would be a great
fresh face to the command team and I may only have a small
amount of experience in a moderation position but I was quickly
integrated and was put through my paces so I believe I have
enough experience to do this job. I would love to make everyone
on my ship happy and run the ship to the best of my abilities!
What qualities would you bring to this position?
I would bring a strong amount of commitment to the position and
I would work day and night to make the ship the most enjoyable
and friendly environment I could. It would mean the world to me
if I got this position and thus, I'd give my full commitment!
What relevant experience do you have?
My past experience was on the other site and I served as a 2O
and an XO for 4-5 months. I may only be new to the moderation
side of things but during this I think I proved myself worthy to
take the position I was given by ahowing true dedication and
putting my 100% effort into the job.
Any Other Comments?
I'm always online and posting and it would mean the world to me
for you to pick me as the replacement. As I'm most likely one of
the younger people on the site my time is plenty and I'd be able
to come on actively every day.

I would like this position because I love to help people and
what better way then as the commanding officer.
What qualities would you bring to the position?:
I am a very good listener and as I said before I love to help
people. I am online most of my free time and I do my best to
respond asap.
What relevant experience do you have?:
On the other site I held the position as SO, XO, and CO. I did
have to step down as CO due to school and family at that time. I
held XO the longest of all those positions and it is a great
position and I would love to hold any of those again.
Any other comments?:
I hope to gain this position or one of the others but if not I
will move up like everyone else.
