Kira Wyman - Quarters

Kira had decided to sit down and do a personal log which many
people would ususally do. She never seemed to have time during
the war but since it ended she had been given so much free time
she felt as though she wasn't doing enough work.
Personal Log - 1
"So... I finally got time to sit down and do one of these logs
and I've been assigned after being on the station the paast few
days, waiting for an assignment. I'm going to the USS Endeavour
as the chief of operations. I know it's not what I learnt as my
major but it's always nice to have a change of scenery and it
came with a hollow pip. I'm starting to believe that the
admirality see something in me; especially since I'm only 23 and
I've made it this far. I'm like a child compared to the rest of
the people on the ship...
Anyway, I've had my stuff prepared for transfer and I'll be
making my way to the ship as soon as I can. I'm looking forward
to finally going out on a voyage after being stuck on the
station for so long. Obviously we'll be docked for a while but
at least I'll have something to do. Personally, I've found the
rest I've had to be useful as I feel as though I'm going to be
able to jump in with a free mind. The memorial was a while ago
now and despite losing some great friends, I'm feeling ok. I
just hope it stays that way."

Personal Log - 2
How long has it been now since I was assigned to 8th fleet? A
couple months maybe? And already I've been reassigned to another
ship and have been offered a second officer spot. I mean, jeez,
me of all people? And why, I've only been in Starfleet for a few
years and already they have me in a form of command position.
Hell, I'm not gonna deny an opportunity like that, I would've
jumped at it at any time.
Anyway, I've been assigned to the Atlantis under a captain
B'Ozian Dyson. I've heard good things about the captain and will
be interested to meet the Catian in person.

Personal Log - 3
During an interesting turn of events and a sudden change of
command, my old friend from the academy Joshua has been put in
command and he has given my the XO spot. To be quite honest I'm
not surprised he got promoted. He's a great officer and has
always been an asset to starfleet. After all, at least he didn't
manage to get a ship blown up because you're to incompetent.
That's probably why they shipped me out of tactical now that I
think of it but in my defence, we fought hard and I was focused
on that day. More focused than ever before.
Anyway I'm the XO now which mend no more department work but a
butt tonne of paperwork to do. I'm sure I'll be maintaining
personnel files too which I don't mind doing as long as it's
positive. Our crew is good which is what a lot of ships can't
say.
