MY NEW 2014 HAS ARRIVED!!

Hey all,
My dealer called and said my 2014 690 Enduro R has arrived and
is currently being assembled!
Hoping to pick it up tomorrow! I'll post pics as soon as
possible!

Congrats Rusty! can't wait to see it & hear feed back after the
break in. Really curious to hear what you think of that ABS

I've named her "Lorna," after my grandma, who turned 94 last
week, and whose favorite color (and hair) is orange.
I went today, got a bill of sale, took these pics, picked up my
manuals and left without the bike. My lending institution
couldn't fund the dealer today--which is just as well, it's
raining cold pee-pee today in Houston. My initial impressions
are limited to how it felt to sit on, and how it sounded.
First, either my ass is getting harder or the 690's seat got a
bit softer this year. I'm pretty sure the Hagen Daz has not
caused my ass to get harder.
Second, the sound. In a word, quiet. I took a short video.
Once it finishes uploading, I'll post in on youtube and provide
a link here. I'll leave it "as is" for a while, but I may go to
a Wings exhaust in the near future. I don't like loud bikes,
but I don't want it to sound vanilla either.
Once I get Lorna in my clutches, I'll give a more thorough
review.

That's sweet, and funny. I imagine her in a matching orange moo
