       Picture size. WTF.

Dude, I can't put hardly any photos on this site cuz the pic
size limit is what it is. How can we bump up the size? I love
the fact that there's now a dedicated 690 site, but I wanna post
       some damn pics! >:(

       Hey Seabeegt,
There's unfortunately a limit on the size of pics you can UPLOAD
to the forum. This is because the site is free and I can't
afford to pay for more server space. The good news, though, is
that there are many sites to which you can upload your photos,
then paste the copied URL in the body of your post (a la the
Mona Lisa icon). This way, you can post pics at full
       resolution/size if you like:

The only pic I recommend uploading directly to the site is your
profile pic (which should be small anyway).
I use the Picasa website (
  HTML http://picasa.google.com
  HTML http://picasa.google.com
). There are other pic hosting sites,
       but Picasa's free. ;)

I'm not a huge computer geek & I know this forum is just
starting out so we might not have enough members (YET) but would
a fund raiser or donation period be a consideration down the
road to help improve the website. I know I wouldn't mind
       contributing to a good cause.

Thanks for the 411. I'll use Picasa in the future. And if ya'll
start a fundraiser, I'll donate for sure. 8)

I appreciate the thought, but at this point I'd rather this site
operate as a labor of love. ;D

Stay true to the dream bro. I'm loving this site. Very
appreciative of the effort towards an independent 690 forum. Its
like good riding weather. Cant get enuff of it! 8)

I use Microsoft Office PowerPoint to reduce the sized of my
picture by compressing the picture; works for everything I've
       tried so far.
