What's included with new bike, 2009?

Bought a 2009 690R from an out of state seller, I now have the
bike and some take-offs (muffler, hand guards) but....
none of the dealer delivered extras. Not a big deal but looking
to refresh his memory a little so that he might look a little
       harder.
So what did you receive with your bike (manuals, tools,
       handholds etc.)? ???

Here is what I believe came with new 690's:
2 ea keys & key card
Owners Manual (which can be downloaded) & Delivery Certificate
       Tool Kit
Frame Guards to go in place of passenger peg mounts if removed
Passenger grab handles & mounting hardware
       Sound about right?
I don't want to press the PO for items not part of new bike
       delivery.

Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think none of the forum
       members were owners from new!

LOL nope I'm a wanna be yuppy scum who bought new! Its unreal
how hard these bikes are to find. Either the dealers I called
were sold out or they simply couldn't get them. I guess KTM has
this thing where they require dealers to buy certain bikes in
order to receive other bikes like the 690. So it was a bit of a
snipe hunt at first, but fortunately I found mine in Carson City
       ;D

       Hey Bruce,
The 2014 comes with two sets of keys and a coded key card (for
       having additional keys cut).
       A nice zipper folder:

Inside the folder is the manual, a KTM clothing catalog, and a
       tool kit:

It also contained the "block off" plates in case you don't want
passenger pegs. **Make sure you ask for your pegs** They're
not cheap, and you may want them if you pair up with someone on
a backcountry ride. Sure it sucks to ride 2-up, but it sucks
even more if your buddy's bike breaks down and you don't have a
second set of pegs. My dealer neither installed nor mentioned
them until I called him on it.

Yeah, need to be sure you receive everything you paid for.
Rusty, did you get the rear fender handholds, were they
installed already? Looks like they will be shod with MT21s for
       the US market.

Yes, I DID get the rear fender handholds (installed)--but again,
I had to ASK for them. The dealer rationalized not initially
installing them by saying that some buyers don't like them. For
my purposes, I intend to install a rack and would rather not
drill the fender myself. Plus, until I decide with rack to go
with (and I'm leaning toward the "Burro" rack), I can use the
hand guards to tie down my lunchbox.
And, yes, my bike came with MT21's.

That's what I thought. I can think of only 3 reasons these
accessories, which are shipped with the bike, are often not
       automatically included are:
       1) Takes a little labor to install if requested.
       2) Can be carried as inventory and possible resold as
       parts/accessories later.
       3) Lack of communication between the folks doing the pre
delivery assembly/inspection and the sales staff.
In any event you paid for them so ask your dealer to include
them installed or not (at your discretion). I would hope a good
customer oriented dealer would ask before automatically
installing, the handholds add to the height and result in
drilled holes in the fender (personally I would ask for the
parts but pass on the install).
Congratulations to those receiving new bikes!
       Bruce
