       Bar Risers

       I would like higher handlebars on my '13 690.    I have
       installed bar risers on my other bikes.    I assume I could go
       with 1" risers and not have to replace the cables/ brake lines,
       but how about 2"?    Has anyone installed 2" bar risers?    Or
       do you have a recommendation for a taller handlebar?

       If you go with the Scott's steering damper - it raises your bars
       enough.

       Well, I'll answer my own question here.    I bought 30mm (1.2")
       1 1/8" dia bar risers from Rocky Mountain ATV for about $21.   I
       installed them, and the only thing I had to do was to loosen the
       throttle and twist the whole thing 180 degrees so the throttle
       cables are on the bottom now.
       More comfortable for me, especially when I stand up.    I'm
       happy with the change.
