2016 model

While at the dealer today we were talking about the 690. My
dealer is himself an old racer, and he was saying that while at
a meeting with ktm, they were telling him that 2015-16 at
lattest will be the last year for the 690. although it will
live on as a husky 710. ktm is looking to replace it with a v
twin . he said around a 800 cc. I just hope husky keeps the
ball rolling.

It's just something Husky did with the KTM 500. They added the
1, making theirs the 501. I read somewhere that they were doing
the same thing with the KTM 690. Calling theirs the 701.
