Confused...should I be adjusting the compression and/or engine
characteristic?

I have a 2015 Enduro 690 and I will be taking it on the
Washington Backcountry Discovery Route (WABDR) this weekend. I
am 196 lbs and I am guessing I am loading up about another 25
lbs of gear.
Should I stick with the standard settings for the compression
and the standard setting for the engine characteristic?
Help...confused.
Thanks

You should be more worried about those hillbillies out of
deliverance than your engine character table.

I'd get your suspension set up for you and all your
gear/luggage. Especially the rear shock preload/sag, since it
is the hardest thing to set. The engine is fine. You could go
down a tooth on the front sprocket (14t) if you feel you need
more torque.
