I've been riding dirt bikes for 35 years. I got into sport bikes
and road racing in my 20s and continued to ride them until 2013
when I plated my CRF 450x and road on my first ADV ride. I
bought a KLR 650 to see if I really liked it as much as I did on
that first ride and did even though every time I went out I
broke something. So I bought a Triumph 800xc and found it to be
just a little to big for some of the trails we end up on. That
led me to buying my first KTM, the 690. So far I'm loving it
all 499 miles I have on it. that was done in one weekend. Work
has been a bitch. I'm hoping to get out on it a lot more now.
hear is a little video since I can't figure out how to post
       pics.

Welcome here. Looks like you've found a good fit for what you
want. I'm new to KTM as well, coming from a F800GS that I
tortured for 35,000 miles. Let me tell you, the less expensive
tire replacement alone is a breath of fresh air.

Welcome to the forum! There's a tutorial about loading pics
under the "faq" section. PM me if it continues to be
       troublesome. Where were you riding?
