Howdy from the great state of Texas. Sixty eight years old. Been
riding and racing since I was 16. Quit the X/C racing about two
years ago and started doing more dual sport. Love riding in
Mexico and any place else I can find.
I love making stuff for my 690R. Just made a batch of case
protectors. Half anodized black and the rest orange. Anyone
interested give me a shout.

Sounds good outlaw, I think the orange is great. I have to wait

Hey there Outlaw if you are waiting around for another idea of
what to make for the 690 how about a preload adjuster tool that
can actually get in there to adjust. Can you make the sprocket
cover actually cover the sprocket(as in I don't need to see it)
and also protect the engine case?

Preload adjuster tool? I have one that works, just don't
remember where I got it. I'll check and see if I can figure out
where I bought it and let you know.
As for the case saver. Yeah I can do that. Next time I make some

That's an Enduro Engineering version on my ex-520 EXC. I was
about 100 yards from the pumps at Big Bend Lodge. I talked to
Allen Randt at EE about one for the 690, but no luck. They
might be a marketing opportunity for you.
