Fuel calculations or am I crazy?

So the bike has arrived, and Im stoked! Although I havent found
much time to ride (around town street rippin) this bike puts a
constant smile on my face. Anyway so I just fueled up for the
first time. Now I had 135 miles roughly on the clock and the
reserve light came on. It took 2.2+ gallons to fill it. It has a
3.2 gallon tank, no? So am I to assume that I got 65+ miles per
gallon and had a whole gallon of reserve fuel left that would
have gone another 65 miles til empty. Is my math right or am I
on crack??
Ive been riding her pretty hard but again just around the towns,
no dirt killin or heavy highway.
Side note: I have never been so impressed with a bone stock
bike. This things awesome. Not a single issue at all. Just start
and go fun!!

Hey Ty,
No that sounds about right. My bike didn't get as good of
mileage at first. The one thing that kill gas mileage on this
bike is the Interstate. When I'm steady going at 70-80 mph, my
gas mileage suffers (about 45-50 mpg).

I don't know how you guy's can do that.
The highest I've gotten was 55. Most of the time its around
40-43. Of course I have a really hard time keeping it under 75
on the gravel around here.

I seem to be getting 55 - 60 in 'commuter mode.' That means I'm
running 50/50 tires and a 16t front sprocket. Mostly around
70mph.
