Still has tack rpm but interestingly enough, it has mpg
calculator. Also it has a radio.

A radio on a 690 Enduro? Why for? My FMF Powercore pipe
playing on all six gears is music to me! Toss the radio. So
about the seat. That could definitely use an upgrade. I use the
Seat Concepts Gripper cover & foam. I love it. I've done some
500 mile days & was whooped but I never had to pull over because
my a55 was sore. The Seat Concepts seat is probably the best $$$
I spent on my 690. I think they are $185 for the cover & foam.

Yes and it only AM audio too. I thought seat concepts seat was
more expensive than 185??

If you have THEM do it and provide the pan...it is more.. :

then stock, but not nearly good enough for me. Great quality

Yeah I just double checked their store its $185 shipped for the
cover & foam. As of early this spring they didn't have a pan
available for the 2014 model 690 Enduro so you have to get the
kit or have them install it. Wow, you really didn't like the
seat Dave? I have never heard anyone say that but to each his
own.

they had a pan when I ordered mine in June. No, I didnt like
it. My seat issues is not tailbone/monkey butt related like
most folks...my issues stem from the Ishium/sit bones/pelvic
bones. Thats why I am looking at the Russell day Long, and the
Ricks Custom...they are displaced better, and Ricks especially
will custom shape it to directly addres my issue (he is familiar
with that problem))

Well thats cool that you just didn't give up & kept looking for
a seat that works. The 690 is a bike that you really want to
ride all day but its no fun if your hurting.

Just ordered my 2015 bike, I have been promised it this month,
once it's in I will co pair it to the 14. Let's hope they have
improved the suspension and the ABS is more off road friendly.

I cant wait to see it! Hopefully the radio is just a bad rumor.
I didn't think they were going to be released this soon yet?
BTW.. Whats wrong with the suspension & ABS on the 14'?
