2015 KTM 690 Enduro Info and Rumors

Hey all,
As the 2014's appear to be largely sold out, folks are already
hungry to know about the 2015 model. If you hear any rumors
about the new bike's updated specs, release date, or new
features, please post about it here.

I'll keep my eyes out Rusty. I've been so hormonally involved
with the concept of the 1290 engine on the 2015 Super Adventure
pushing 180bhp (at the crank) that I haven't given it much
thought. Thanks for the wakeup call.

I talked with a dealer last week. He anticipates there being an
updated Speedometer/control center. Other than that possibly a
minor update to suspension. I'm currently waiting to jump in to
the 690 camp from my F800GS.
Struggling to decided between it or a 1200GS. I know no one
with a 690, all my co-riders have 1200's. Most of my riding is
trails within 100 miles - except for those runs to CO and
Mexico's Copper Canyon.

I heard exactly the same thing. New instrument cluster and
tweaked suspension.

Hey guys! I just got back from Austria, I visiting my cousin
Hans and Davidoff. I went to the KTM headquarters and demanded
to see the new concepts for 2015 enduro. All ill say is "6
days", new speedo, and a better seat! Wow. Wait till you guys
see this thing. Unreal.

I have not bought yet....I currently am using the one I built
myself from the stock pan...much better, but I want one of
these...still deciding. Either one will run about $500. not
cheap, but my seat issues (discomfort) is the MAJOR reason I
stop riding any day. That one is a RUSSEL DAY LONG....
(sport version)....and this one is from Richs Custom Seats in
Seatlle. RUSSELL actually uses springs in the 'wings'...where
Rich does not... I think Richs might allow for a bit more
customization.....but I have NEVER read a dissatisfied review
from a RUSSELL cusomter....at all....

this is the one I made... it has proprietary Tempurpedic foam
as top layer. Way more comfy then stock, but not quite where
I want it to be.
