Regulator/rectifier upgrade

Has anyone gone down this track using a MOSFET rr, such as one
from jack Fleming at roadstercycles?
Thinking about it as it's a known issue on the bikes.

Just to answer my own post...I got a mosfet unit from
roadster....very easy finstall. The only issue was one of
fitment as the new unit has big plugs. It was solved by flipping
the unit 90 degrees.

What was your reason for this modification? Is there a problem
with the stock regulator/rectifier?

There can be...there have been some failures. I understand that
the majority of third party car and bike parts seem to go pear
shaped.

issues ...Do you have a little bit of time and give few

Thanks for your help guy...I could not really teste my regulator
as I get a new problem witht eh cooling system ...grrrrrrrr
When everyting will be sorted out I 'll post again..
