Has any1 done this...I kind of need a walk thru before I start
       it.

       Replying to my own post...
I found some advice on another forum and set to work this
afternoon. It's a very simple procedure, remove shrouds, air
box, and injector using the Phillips head securing screw and
       quick disconnect fuel line.
Because I had no injector problems I didn't bother with getting
the injector sonically cleaned. I simply used electrical contact
cleaner squirted thru both the hose and injector and blasted
them clear with compressed air. This was more about the process
of removal. That being said I could hear how the bike idled
better and smoother after I started it later.
Some things to consider when the Airbox is off the bike...
Check the fuel line where it can rub. I placed a bit of larger
diameter hose on the vulnerable area to shield it.
Consider a valve check at the same time. The Airbox is off after
       all.
If you are swapping to a manual cam chain adjuster the access is
       there.
A good check of all the electrical connectors is pretty easy at
       this point as well.
Good time to check/change the spark plug.
       Time taken.
Time to remove air box...10 mins (includes removing the seat and
       shrouds).
Removing injector (gently with this as the screw is soft metal)
and fuel hose...5 mins if you include searching for the correct
       size screwdriver!
Clean...as long as you want or as quickly as an injector service
       takes.
Refit everything (put a little wd40 on the rubber washer so it
seats properly)...maybe 10 minutes or 15 if like me you forget
to lift the throttle cable to the upper side of the front Airbox
screw and have to take it off again. >:(
All in all I think from now on every time I do an oil change
I'll be doing an injector service as well.

Guymcfly - how many miles on your bike that it was 'dirty' and
made a difference once you cleaned the injector?

I'm not sure of my mileage because I popped the speedo off for
as desert race sometime back and haven't bothered to put it
       back.
But my neck of the woods is on the edge of desert country. It's
dry and dusty for most of the year. I cleaned the gas tank and
changed fuel filter maybe 1k miles back, but with an injector I
think it's more about super fine dirt particles that can pass
thru the filter. The dissolved stuff that will end up being part
of the varnish on the injector.
It also depends on the contaminants that are in the pump gas
       when you buy it.
Because I'm a carby centric kinda guy, the removal was more an
exercise in learning the process so I can do it quickly and
efficiently for the future. That being said when it was all off
I wasn't not going to spray some contact cleaner and compressed
       air thru it.
As to result? Smoother throttle response and idling even with my
quick clean process. Makes me think maybe a sonic clean will
       make a really big difference.
As I mentioned, from now on when I'm servicing the bike, the
injector will get a service as well.

Thanks for the info! With the poor designed gas filler, these
bikes are prone to just pouring dirt and crap down into the
tank! ( I am keeping my eye open for the redesigned gas filler
mod from KTM Twins that should be out shortly)

Why don't you just get the Rally Raid one?
