New to KTM

Been a harley guy for many years. I haven't been a trail rider
since the late 70s. Picked up a KTM XC450f for some trail riding
in the wayne national forest area. Fell in love with the bike.
Excellent craftsmanship etc. after a few weeks I started to look
at the 690 for commuting and easy trail, gravel road type of
rides. Finally took the plunge and traded the KLR 650 for a 2014
690 enduro R. WOW what a difference! I look forward to going to
work in the morning just to hop on the bike for a 30 mile ride.
I did however get a wings exhaust fairly quick. Harley sitting
in the corner of the my shop now watching the metric bikes
getting a serious workout. Wish I would have converted sooner.

I hope you spend a lot of time on this site and contribute,
however it'll cost you! So much cool stuff going on here it's
hard to resist spending money.
Enjoy the ride.

Welcome to the forum GCS. I went cruising with a dozen Harleys
last month. They were shocked how quick my "little" 690 was.
