       New skid and hand guards.

Finally got a real skid plate and real hand guards on her now.
Ordered the new plate from slavens racing and the hand guards
from rocky Mountain atv. These acerbis are the easiest to
install guards I've ever used. The flatland plate was also very
easy to install. Also finally washed all the mud off. Haha.

       Big John,
Do the hand guards have the metal bar behind them?
I already busted one of my stockers...
I looked at ordering some, but it can be confusing with just the
guard, the metal part, the complete kit (maybe).
       Thanks,
       Colorado

       Hey man,
The acerbis guards I got have the plastic molded around an
aluminum bark buster. Enduro engineering has a kit on rocky
Mountain atv that comes with the aluminum bar and the bolt on
plastic shields I also like. I just wanted to try the acerbis
and like the look of these ones on the 690. I already forgot
the model of mine. I'll try to post a link in a minute.

Hope this helps. They're the rally pro x-strong. I'll be riding
up around the lake city area in about a week and a half. That's
what really prompted me to hurry and get some real parts on her
       haha.

I ended up with the Barkbuster 'Jet' with the side guards. They
appear to be way better than stock and were easy to install.

I got the zeta pro bend, the zeta plastic guards, with blinkers
built in. Eliminated the big blinkers off the front. I wanted
more of a dirt bike look.

I also went with the powermadd hand guard mirror kit to get rid
of those tall Mickey Mouse mirrors.

Surprising how much you can actually see out of them. The stock
ones shake too much and don't look good at all.
Here's a video showing the setup, that my buddy put up.
