How to replace a broken front brake lever on a 14

       Broken lever!

Remove the big 19mm stamped nut on the bottom - it also holds
       the micro-switch in.

Then just push the hollow bolt up and out (it's slotted at the
top so that it won't spin); mine came out easily.

       Thanks Colorado!
Did you replace it with an OEM lever?

       Rusty,
I couldn't find anything but the OEM lever :-\
Even the dealer had kind of a hard time with the 14.
At $90, if I had a choice, I probably would have taken the
       alternative!
There are better hand guards out there too, but for $60 (for 2)
to just replace it for now vs. $150+ good enough for now.
I did get the Flatland bash guard, and the Scottoiler is on the
way - I'll show some pics for that later.

Have you read anything like this again, but it should be better.

If English you could speak, better it would be.

This site is growing internationally. Let's be supportive of
those who boldy participate despite having a language barrier.
By the way, "google translate" sucks.

       Colorado Rider,
In an attempt to expand on the "local" riding network, I ask,
where are you located? I am in Windsor. Nearby?
Anxious for the next 690 Rippin!

       jrugg,
I was in Colorado Springs, but moved to Huntsville Alabama three
weeks ago. I guess I should change my name to 'Alabama
       adventurer'.

Got it. And I see you are now Alabama Adventurer. Looks like our
day of rippin went from maybe Rampart to now something in the
deep south. Will certainly throw you a heads up if I am
       in/around Huntsville. Go twist it!

I put these on. Orange anodized, clutch and brake levers. From
       China but work pretty good.
