I have the seat concepts ordered it about 300 miles after I got
my Enduro. The OEM seat should be registered as a torture device
:) the seat concepts seat is better that the OEM and lowers the
seat about 10 MM but not sure if it's worth the cash it's better
but not much.

I have a Renazco and can tell you that it is very comfortable.
The stock seat is a torture device unless you are standing in
the pegs for most of your ride, in which case its narrower
profile is preferable.

My Renazco is one of the best mods on my 690.

I ordered a Day Long seat today, will ship my seat to them next
week, on the build list for end of January, they require
pictures of me standing and sitting on bike, my body
measurements and my weight to custom build the seat to me. I
ordered black leather with orange stitching and no passenger
pad. Will look something like this:

Another vote for the Renazco Racing option. Easy to deal with
and fairly quick turn around. Seat is night/day difference
between the stocker in comfort on longer rides.

Seat Concepts! I've had some 500+ mile days & never had a hurt
butt. (Not that the rest of me didn't). If you install the cover
yourself I would suggest glueing it on with cyanoacrylate or use
very few staples. The OEM pan is very hard & will break where
you staple it.

I've been using an air hawk since Oct and never had to much of
an issue with it but I ride mostly off road and standing up.
With that said I am going to do the UBCDR in early Sept. With
some friends. I thought that doing that many days in a row on
the 690 standing up might be rough so I bucked up and bought a
seat concepts tall " I'm 6'6". " today I set out to just ride
street and gravel roads. We did 325 miles and that seat is
awesome. I am not a bit sore. I can't believe I waited this long
to get this thing. I would highly recommend it for anyone who
sits for more than 15 minutes at a time.

doniton2, did you get the new 690 tall? They didn't have a tall
version for the 2012-15's when I got mine earlier in the year.
I see they have a new option that is an inch taller for
'12-'15's. I'm thinking another inch of foam should be more
comfortable.
