Seat recommendations

I have not seen much on the subject of seats. I would really
like to upgrade my 14 690R.
I enjoy the height of the stock seat ,but would like something a
little more comfortable, possibly even with a small amount of
under seat storage.
Thanks.

I got an AirHawk as a last minute purchase for an upcoming
trip, intending to replace it later. It's been two years...and
I'm still happily riding the AirHawk.
I've yet to hear anything bad about Seat Concepts...but I can't
justify spending the money.

Thanks for the replys,
I would order the seat concepts today but they dont have any 14
seat pans. I do want to keep my oem seat to swap back and forth.

I am doing a ride-in to Seth Laam to have a custom seat made for
my 2014 690 Enduro R in mid August. I'll post pics and my
impressions after it is done.

I should have a seat next week from Renazco Racing. I will let
you know how it works. Everyone just raves about their seats.

I'm a 5'9" feller that has lowered the bike for everything I'm
worth without going with too much sag. That means I installed a
Koubalink 1 and 5/8 lowering link and Seat Concepts seat. They
make a seat for the 2014 but also say the seat for the earlier
models works as a "low seat option" on the 2014. I started with
the seat specific to the 2014, but then bought the 'low seat
option' because the one specific to the 2014 actually reduced my
leg reach a half an inch or better. I estimate 3/4 inch, and
that's because its a little wider than the factory seat. I had
to use a dremel tool to deepen the slot in the front of the seat
pan to fit my 2014, using the one specific to the 2014 as a
guide. (About a half an inch is where the rear lock engages.
Work your way down with the grinding until the lock engages)
But in the end I kept the 'low seat option' even though the
padding was a little stiffer than the one specific to the 2014.
If height is an issue for you then get the low seat option and
grind that slot in the front down until it fits right. If not,
then get the one made for the 2014 because the padding is a
little softer. My two pesos.
