I've not seen how the pins are set up yet. Is it not possible
to simply pull pin 18 and zip tie it out of the way?

Hmmm. Next time I pull that pin I'll leave it out and see if the
speedo will work w/o it being in. It'd be a helluva lot easier
like that. Anyways, the rotor bolts are chewing the heck outta
my speedo, so it ain't registering right. I got another speedo
coming and I'm gonna have to either shave down the heads of the
bolts or figure something else out. So either way I'll be
messing with the computer again, and when I do I'll get back to
ya'll. ;)

Yup! Speedo and electronics work 100% fine without the pin in
the plug. I carefully removed it, and taped it back. I can
switch between SM + Dirt very easily.
