It's not really as big as it looks from the back.

Hey Colorado,
I love that bag. I just ordered the Wolfman rear rack which is
similar to yours. I was wondering, have you tried strapping the
Kriega sideways? (turning the bag 90 degrees and running the
straps front to rear, instead of side to side.)
I wonder if you could still access your gas cap if you ran your
bag that way? I'll probably get the Kriega in the next couple
weeks.

Rusty,
I think that you could put it sideways and get to the gas tank.
It is really easy to take off; all you have to do is unsnap four
clips.

Just spent a crapload$ w/ Kriega again. Got a 5L + tankmount and
a Rotopax setup coming. ;D

That's the ticket! Ordered the Nomadic Rack last night (the
Wolfman was too short). The Kriega 20 is coming soon. It's
awesome that I'll be able to access the gas cap without screwing
with the bag. Thanks for posting the pic.

That's a pretty good blog about bags. I think I need some more
soft luggage. Think I'll try a Giant Loop Mojavi bag setup
next. It may cover the gas cap though... but that may be worth
the strain cuz it'll distribute they weight accordingly. We'll
see. They're like $250 so might have to put that on the
backburner for a bit. :P
