Tactics

These are in order of priority.
Tactic (what it does) - abbreviation
1. Lightning Assault (Chance for extra attack) - LA
2. Pursuit of Excellence (Chance for 2x exp)- POE
3. Better to Receive (1 more loot drop when raid is finished,
add at last 10%)- BTR
4. Terror (Largest damage boost of the non-conditionals)-
5. Preparation Combo (Preparation/Suppresive Fire/Flank Attack -
Great damage boost in each slot when used together, but if all 3
aren't available, just skip this)- Prep/SF/FA
6. Focused Fire (Damage)
7. Backseat Thinker (Damage)
8. Veni, Vidi, Vici ( Damage)- VVV
9. I Have a Cunning Plan (Damage)- CP
10. Take a Chance (Damage, 2x exp, or credits - Note, when exp
kicks in with PoE, you get 3x exp, not 4x)- TaC
11. Deception/Ruthlessness (Damage/Criticals when used
together)-
12. Rapid Fire (Damage)
13. It's a Trap! (Criticals)
14. Forte Against Foible/Support (Damage, use together or skip)
15. Storm (Damage)
16. Calculated Shot (Criticals)
17. Reckless Charge (Extra damage, but take 2x damage in return)
All tactics not mentioned are low-tier tactics and shouldn't be
used unless the ones mentioned aren't available. DO NOT ADD
SPACE RAIDERS TO ANY RAID UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. It is
arguably the worst tactic in the game.
Situational Tactics (To be used ONLY when the conditions are met
in the order listed):
Split-Second Carnage (Great damage boost when boss health is
over 80%)- ssc
Element of Surprise (Same as above @ 90%)- EoS
Prey on the Weak (Higher crit chance when boss health is under
10%)
Last Stand (Largest damage boost in the game, use when timer is
under 20%)

With the new tactics this topic needs a little revising:
Alliance raids:
2 tactic slots: Asymmetric Warfare is a must, the next one
should be a tactic with high proc and low damage:
Free tactics: Killing Field is the best,
SF is the worst
GS tactics: WYGD is good but it may cause
overhit (handle with care), Terror, Thousand Cuts
3 tactic slots: EdC + SF + FA
4 tactic slots: EdC + SF + FA + Prep = EdC chain or combo
5 tactic slots: EdC chain + BW on Lurking Horror, Shadows of the
Void;
EdC chain + (WU or WYGD) on Ship of the
Damned, Mecha-Wyrm, Celebration Enhancer J-54
EdC + SF + FA + Secret Weapon + WU (or EdC
chain + SW) on Genesis (huge damage bonus for leader boards)
!!!
AW only works on raids with 1 or 2 tactic slots
BW doesn't work on mechanized raids
Secret Weapon is for Genesis only
We have a few low level players but for the most of us PoE is
useless (it doesn't proc above LSI 6.5), do NOT use it!
Space Raiders still the worst tactic, do NOT use it!

BtR should be applied to raids at 10% of health or below!

Furthermore: if you don't want to hit a raid you can still put
up the required tactics (but not any craptics), it helps out the
others.
It is mandatory for wannabe soldiers, and a request from
soldiers... ;)
