       I have road raced sidecars since the early 1970's and have been
       keen to try speedway.
       I raced at Bendigo in the 70's with a road racer modified to
       compete and we did ok, then got more involved in road racing.
       I noticed the 500 Class by accident in Europe and felt it was
       `good mix of excitement and power compared with the open Class
       which terifies me. Being an International Class, I guessed there
       could be a opportunity for growth of the Class.
