       From Sleeping To Working And The Daily Grind
       People often focus on the wrong things. I, for example, have
       started emulating Ernest Hemingway recently by doing my writing
       standing up — as if THAT is the reason he was such a good
       writer.
       Why are we so obsessed with the idiosyncrasies of successful
       people? Well, in part, because it’s fun — and that’s fine. But
       it becomes a problem when we start to believe that we can become
       successful merely by copying these idiosyncrasies. I’m here to
       tell you that washing your feet in the toilet (which Steve Jobs
       used to do) will not make you a great business person. Sorry, it
       just won’t. You’re focusing on the wrong things
       With that said, I’ve put together a list of the most interesting
       and entertaining habits of some of the greatest writers both
       past and present. Remember, this is not a “how to be a
       successful writer” guide, it’s simply for fun.
