Last night the internet kept going on and off due to the wild
wind I think and I got fed up with it so I turned it off and
went to bed !! I was not feeling 100% anyway so I lay in bed
reading for 3 hours and John came to bed at 10pm and was reading
for an hour so I finally turned my lamp out at midnight !!!!!! I
am going back to my bed shortly to finish the book !!!!
I keep getting those panic attack feelings and I am bunged up so
today I got John to take me to our GP clinic in Whanganui. NO
doctor there !!!!!! SO John took me to the hospital to the A&E
dept. where they also have a couple of doctors working for
people who need to see a doctor but not an emergency !!!!!!!!
I have been there before a couple of times ........ once when I
slipped down the steps here and hurt my leg, hip and knee and
once before because I was having panic attacks !!!!
The waiting room was chokka but I spoke to a young male doctor
on reception ( ginger hair and ginger beard .... I am sure I
have mentioned him before .... ? ) He sent me to see a nurse (
who was from Norway !!!) who took my BP, temp and asked about my
problem etc etc then I waited for maybe 20 mins until I saw a
young female Doctor from Poland who did similar stuff and said I
needed Abs as it sounds like I have a cold type bug !!! SO I
have ABS now for 7 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Hope I can sleep tonight ! Watch this space !!!!!!!

AS a PS ... That hospital visit cost me $70 !!!!! We don't pay
at our normal GPs because of our age !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The
prescription I got for the Abs cost me nothing at one of the
local Whanganui Chemists !

As another PS !!!!! I wanted to get my Thyroid checked but the
nurse at the hospital said all the latest results from the last
test ( April ) were good ..EVEN tho I said I thought the
Waverley Chemist had given me different Thyroid pills .... but
the nurse looked me up on the computer and said they were the
same ones as I have been taking for the last 3 months as far as
she could see !!!!!!!!!! PASS Again !

I hope the ABs work for you and that the cause of your panic is
because you can't breathe properly, that can make anyone
panic!!!!

ABs ????????????? Rubbish !!!!! I took one AB after dinner last
night !!! I got up this morning to let the dog out ...7am and
I felt dizzy when I stood up ! Horrible .. I went to the loo and
took my Thyroxine. Snuggled down again and John got up and I
drifted off to sleep again for almost 3 hours.
I had breakfast then took another AB. prepped dinner in the
slow cooker.... and read the paper ...... then all of a sudden
at about 2 o'clock I had another dizzy spell and John made me go
lie down and gave me another Diazapan. I Lay down again for an
hour or more then got up as it was nearly tea time and John had
finished off the dinner! I ate a small amount of the Shepherd's
pie and it was nice and now its after 9pm so I am going to bed
again too read and hopefully sleep !!!!!!!!!!
SO IS IT the ABs making me feel dizzy and not right ? !!!!! OR
Is it A POSSIBLE Change in the Tyroxine pills ??????? IT has
happened before !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Am not taking any more ABS.

What antibiotics are you on? I know the other week when I had a
cold, or whatever it was, I too felt dizzy a few times, so it's
probably that rather than the ABs. Mind you, ABs are no good if
you have a virus, only if you have an infection anyway.

Ah so you too did feel dizzy with the cold symptoms and abs ?
I went to bed earlyish and was reading last night but then I
got up got up for the loo and felt really dizzy, went to the loo
and got off and felt dizzy again I made John ring an ambulance
around 11PM !!
The local Hind Quarters cafe owner ? ... she arrived within 10
minutes ... with a local nurse in her car and did the usual
tests ... and thought I needed some Abs ! I said I had some
from the Hospital GP so I was told I MUST Take them !!! The
nurse was very nice, she lives in a field up the road with her
husband and 2 young kids who go to Cash and Greta's school... in
Waverley and works in Whanganui Hospital !... cannot remember
her name !!!!!!!!!
Anyway the ambulance came and 2 males came in ..... a tall one
who came here to NZ from Seahouses in Northumberland... 3 years
ago and he had a Geordie accent !!!!!!!!!! And the other one
did all the medical stuff but I had no problems !!!!!!!!! NO
problems so end of story !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was told
to visit my GO on MOnday if I don't feel any better
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You certainly do panic, don't you?!!!! Did anyone mention why
you needed to take the ABs? You must have an infection somewhere
and I can assure you that neither your thyroxine nor the ABs are
the cause of your dizziness. Just rest and try not to panic, you

I have to take the Abs because I seem to have an infection and
the beginning of a cold or flu !!! Still get a dizzy spell when
I get up out of bed and I get up slowly !
I have been coughing a bit and also blocked up of course but
otherwise I am just knackerd and don't want to do anything !
Like I have no energy !
All the 3 grandkids have been off school today too as they are
all feeling .... ' sick ' according to Jack and coughing and
sneezing !!! Jack came up here this arvo to have a go on my
computer..... I went for a nana nap and he was on here for 2
hours .... according to John :)
According to Bonnie, who brought up our dinner .... they are
going to school tomorrow !!!!!!! :)))))))))))))
I think I am off to bed again now but I do wish I had a decent
book to read. John went to the library today and took my books
back and got one the Library lady had reserved for me
................ I Have read it before
