Went shopping ...

Took myself to Whanganui today shopping as I did not go
yesterday ( Pension day ) and it did not rain till I got back
here .. 3 hours later.... and it was Warm in Whanganui I had to
take off my jumper !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People, especially women
were walking round in tee shirts... some oldish women too !!!
I went to New World, not been shopping there for a few weeks and
I got carried away :) NO need to shop now till next week and my
car goes into the garage on Friday for its WOF anyway :)

It's nice that I can picture where you are now and even New Work
as we went in there too [emoji1] We usually only shop once a
week, although there are times when we have to get some extra
stuff for a meal or whatever.

Yes you can visualise New World in Whanganui :) I tend to go
shopping twice a week ... maybe because it gets boring here
!!!!!!!!
John took my car in to get the two new front tyres put on and
the back light fixed !!!!! New Bulb needed ! Tomorrow it goes in
for its WOF ! I might stay in bed again !!!!!!!!!!
Ah maybe not as I have nothing to read as I never did get to the
Library today !!!!!!!!!!!

I take it your WOF is like our Pink Slip? Getting the car
approved for your yearly registration? I haven't had to do that
for years now, but Robert's work utes and truck have to.
You don't usually read during the day much anyway, do you? I
haven't been anywhere all week this week, it's been wonderful
[emoji7]

YES your Pink slip... I had forgotten that's what you call it so
how come you do not need one ????? If I remember it depends on
the year of the car ????????????????
You need one here every year regardless but of course if the car
is new it is easy but you do have to pay to get the ticket thing
to put on your car windscreen !!!
John took my car to the car garage in Waverley for the WOF .....
YES it is the only car Garage Mechanics in Waverley ...... It
failed the WOF anyway due to some .... bit missing from the ....
gear box ... PASS ! SAME story last year too . SAME boss
mechanic bloke working there ... miserable git ..... ( A Gemini
IF I remember !!!!!) I went with John to pick up my car at 4pm
today and it failed BUT it can go back to the garage next
Thursday to get the bit put in .......... Nothing major I Might
add... but I have to be careful driving in case the ??? bit
makes the car break down or whatever !!! SO NO CAR FOR A WEEK

SAME story as last year I AM SURE !!! Can you remember or is it
me AGAIN imagining things ?????????????????????? I will try and
look back on here !!!!!!!! I am putting this in writing that
last year we had a similar problem and I took MY car to
Whanganui for the part needed then ... and my car got its WOF
there too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS !

PS : I forgot to add I do not often read during the day ....
correct .... unless I just go for a nana nap because I have
nothing else to do and NOT because I need a nap then I read for
an hour or so or more .......... :) BUT I do tend to nap anyway
:)
Another PS :) The garage I took my car into for its WOF last
year has now closed in Whanganui !!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS again !
It is belting down with rain right now, really loud in here
!!!!!!!!!

Here you don't need a pink slip if your car is under 5 years old
and we no longer have the to display the registration on the
screen of our cars, it's all digital here now. Of course we
still have to pay registration fees, but that too is all done on
line now, no need to get the car checked if it's new.
Sorry no I can't remember if you had the same problem last year,
but if your car is an older model, things are bound to need
fixing.

Goodness I have a vague memory of not needing to display the car
stuff if the car was newish when we were in Perth !!!!!! You do
have to display your tax and other stuff here !!! Well I THINK
you do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RE: My car, John took it down to ....Tony Sissons... the retired
mechanic mate ... and he looked at the ?? that was wrong and
fixed it withing 5 minutes !!!! SO I will get JOHN to take it
back to the garage on Monday and hopefully they can Check it and
pass the WOF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you have to display your registration certificate on your
windscreen, I noticed that when we were there.
Hopefully you car will now pass with less hassle and money.

John will take it down the road to get the WOF... he says so I
can go shopping tomorrow. He had to go get milk and bread from
the 4 Square here today............... PASS :)
