We met Gail and Rab for brunch yesterday morning at The Lakes
beach surf club, haven't been there before and the ocean was
glorious, I'll put up a photo I took on FB later this morning.
Afterwards Robert and I went to Harvey Norman to get two bar
stools as the ones we have are getting a bit tatty now, we have
had them 10 years now. We also ordered a new office chair as
this one too is getting tatty. They had the barstools they had
in stock, so we took them home with us, but the office chair we
have to wait for it to be ordered in.

Ah a nice day for you then :) I will look for the ocean view :)
I have never liked sitting on Bar stools, too high and never
comfy. You obviously like them :) Bonnie has 4 along the side of
her kitchen bench too. They do use them for meals too !
Harvey Normal have posh bar stools :) I remember looking at them
and thought about getting a couple when we first moved into the
granny flat in Helensville but I decided on a table with 4
chairs instead :))))))))))))))))))))) Same again when we got
this granny flat .... !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))))))))))))))))
" Feet on the Ground " I say :))))))))))))))
BUT I could do with a new office chair ... this one is ancient
but it still works :)

I got caught up with washing my sheets and towels yesterday and
forgot to put the photo up, will do so this morning.
We only use the bar stools for our evening meal and that depends
on what we are having. The stools we bought are very comfy.

OH I Say they do look comfy :))))))))))))) I think you have put
a pic. of them up before of the old ones or maybe I remember
them from when Ange and I visited .... they DO look comfy even
if they are slightly high .....but they are a luxury at that
price :)))))))))))))))))))
I went shopping to Hawera today ... pension pay day and we did
need basic food stuff :) IT was chilly but not too bad in Hawera
for a change. I went to The Warehouse first looking for new
slippers, never found any but I did find a new medium size pan
to replace the one I burned out the other day $15 :) ! I got
talking to a woman maybe around my age in Pak n Save about how
the prices have gone up this week for most of the food stuff !
WE had a bit of a moan and moved on. I bumped into her once or
twice more around the Pak n Save isles and we chatted some more.
Then I went to Countdown ooops NOW called Woolworths of course
!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bumped into her again in Woolies :))))))) WE did
have a chuckle and in the end she introduced herself as Tracy so
I said I am Moira and we had a nice chat again. :) She lives in
Hawera :) AN interesting food shopping trip ) AH well must be
bed time now :))))))))))))))))))))

No I don't believe I have put a picture up of them before as
they are different to the ones we had before. We thought they
were a good price for well made and comfy stools, hopefully they
last for another 10 years like the old ones did.
I have had that happen to me before while shopping, bumping into
someone continually, but we never exchanged names [emoji4]

I was thinking of your old bar stools, did they not have a back
bit on them too NOT just a stool ?
I have never exchanged names with someone I chatted to in the
supermarket before either but I Do tend to chat to people.....
:) I rarely bump into someone I know in Hawera or Whanganui
anyway :) Never have as far as I can remember !

Oh yes the old bar stools had a closed back on them, I wouldn't
by one with out a back on them, not for inside anyway.
