Poor Juno

We went to Hawera today and took Juno to the vet there as she is
not right and cannot walk or get up easily from her lying down
position :( Cost over $350 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was checked
out by a ( Asian ) lady vet. but the other vet helpers were all
lovely females !!!!!!!!!!!! Never saw a male in the whole vet
clinic and it IS a quite large clinic !!!!!!!!! PASS :)
Anyway poor Juno has Arthritis and was given a jab and needs
another one every Tuesday for the next 3 weeks !!!!!!!! She was
also given cream and stuff for the spots and lumps on her skin
!!!!!!!
I did suggest to John later on that maybe he could give Juno the
jabs once a week ... he was a nurse instead of having to take
her to Patea !!! PASS !

How far away is Hawera from you? The vet will want to see Juno
for any improvements etc anyway, so I doubt they will allow John
to do so, although it won't hurt to ask. They have worked for my
dogs before, so they are worth it ((((((((((Juno))))))))))

Hawera is about 30 minutes drive but the Vet does have another
place in Patea ...( Half way ) 15 mins away from here and that
is where John took Juno this arvo. for her catch up check and
another 2 jabs. SO Juno is very still and quiet tonight !!!!!
$50 thank you very much !!! She has another check up next week
too !
But I have to say once these jabs work she is more energetic,
still not running or dancing like she used to do BUT She is old
now :)

That is very cheap for a visit to the vet!!!!!! The cost of the
injections aren't cheap either if I remember correctly. How old
is Juno again?

Juno is 12 years old ... well 12 next month in May :) Vet costs
may be cheap if you say so..... even if she is NOT OUR dog
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK I give in but we do take care of
her :)
She does not like the thing around her neck .... not sure how
long that will last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say as I blame her for not liking the 'cone of shame' or
Elizabethean collar!!!!! When Hugo and Maggie had one they were
ok with it, but my Borders were not at all impressed!!!!!

Matt PAY for ANYTHING nowadays ????????????????????????? PASS.
If he had stuck with his original ..... well paid job / jobs
with his qualifications ....then maybe he would be rich nowadays
BUT ................... PASS !
Awful name .... Cone of Shame !!!! She seems quite used to it
now :)

Yes Matt does have a job and he enjoys it or he does not
complain to us ........... something to do with Road Traffic
management ! PASS .... but I think the work hours often depend
on the weather !
