Chaos in Abu Dhabi

Passengers have been plunged into travel chaos after the
cancellation of flights between Western Europe and the Middle
East after the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran.
Dan has been on the phone to Bonnie on and off all day today as
things are not good over there as you can read in the news. He
is looking and WAITING for a flight out of Abu Dhabi .....
either on his UK passport or his Aussie one. He is over it all
and says he has had enough. Bollocks to the job !!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT ATM there is a ban on all flights from and around the UAE
and surrounding areas !!!!!!!!!!!
It is a bit of a worry from what I read so any prayers will be
welcome :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad
Bonnie and kids are here and not still in Abu Dhabi

I thought of Dan immediately yesterday and prayed he was safe, I
am happy to hear that he is and the sooner he can get home the
better.
Rab and Leanne are also stuck in Scotland as they flew over with
Qatar airlines and their flights are all cancelled!!!!!!!

Not heard much from Dan but the news is via Bonnie and she said
he is OK BUT not happy with the situation of course !!!!!!!!!!!
NO flights out ATM and maybe not for a few days
...............!! NO flights over the whole area !
I could not sleep very well last night as I kept waking up and
thinking of Dan over there :((((((((((((((((((((
I do read how thousands of people en-route to some holiday
destinations are also stuck in various parts of the world with
no flights available !
I don't like reading about it all but ................ all
prayers accepted XXXXXX

It’s a terrible situation, Kate and Steve have friends who live
in Dubai and Qatar, Kate also has a friend who is an RAF
engineer living on the base in Cyprus that was bombed this
morning ☹️

Hopefully all of this will blow over soon. I know Gail is
worried for Rab and how he will get back, but you must be

Still worried as we have not heard much from Dan but he is OK
and trying to keep safe ! Still a worry BUT there are
apparently thousands of people stuck in the area ATM.
I did read how the Cyprus RAF station was bombed and I too have
an old friend Lesley from Boarding school .. living in Cyprus.
I have known Lesley since I was 11, we were both RAF kids :)
Last heard from her a couple of weeks ago.
I think all flights over that area are cancelled at least for
the next few days !!!!!!!!!!
I don't like thinking about it all !!!!!!!! :((((((((

It’s terrible and is going to have consequences for all of us, I
despair of Trump I really do! It must be terrifying to be caught
up in it all, it seems I ran is firing at all the surrounding
countries, it’s very scary, I hope Dan gets home soon Moira

Trump is a bloody to danger to the world, but at least in this
case he retaliated only when Iran decided to bomb all the
American bases in the UAE. Iran, Iraq and Lebanon have been
fighting for centuries, let them destroy each other I
say!!!!!!!!
There are thousands of people caught up in this, those who live
and work in the areas, one of our nephews lives in Dubai and
used to be in the British army, he is stuck there too. Then
there is Rab, unable to make it back home from Scotland and we
don't know if he will be back before we leave for NZ so Robert
is worried sick about the business [emoji19]

Not heard anything new today from Dan but I read that a few
planes have flown some people out of Dubai ! BUT Thousands are
still stranded over there :(
AH yes I can imagine that Robert is getting stressed too if Rab
cannot get back for the business. Gail too !
