I went with Bonnie this arvo to see the kids doing their
swimming sports . Thank goodness the sun was shining and it was
nice and warm !!!!!!!!!!! Cash won his age race and Greta won
hers ..... but it was complicated in my mind watching as the
kids were swimming together in different age groups ... all at
one time !! PASS I remember they did the same thing last year
:))))))))))) It is not a big school "______
But the sun was shining and the kids enjoyed it all :) I got a
few photos :))))))))))))))))

Well Bonnie went to watch Jack in Whanganui and he ran the 1500
mt. race and he had to run with up to 18 year olds ... one of
the boys being quite famous for his running !!!!!! Anyway Jack
completed the race and came in near the end of the race along
with a couple of other younger boys !!!! BUT He was not last :)
The other 2 races his name had not been entered so he did not
run them !
I went to the pool here at 1pm to find the primary schools half
way through their races....................... YES it all
started at 11am BUT that was NOT what I had been told PASS.
Anyway I got a seat on the viewing benches and on the bench
below me was Bonnie !!!! Turns out earlier that Cash had been
feeling sick and had a swollen gland in his neck so Bonnie had
taken him home and left him in the armchair on his computer
!!!!!! So I watched some of the races and see Greta won her age
group breast stroke race :) Then I came back to check on Cash
but he was fine and had been raiding the pantry looking at the
rubbish !
SO I have not found out yet ..... which local primary school did
win the swimming sports !

That was a bit unfair that they didn't have age specific
races!!!! I'm glad Jack finished and he should be proud of
himself [emoji4]
Well done Greta [emoji122] I hope Cash is feeling better, a
swollen gland is a sign of infection usually.

Spoke to Jack this arvo and he was not bothered that he could
not run in all the races yesterday ! He also said he was among
the shortest of boys in the school but there were 2 or 3 even
shorter than him :) BUT He is one of the youngest also ! I
don't think he is short as he is almost MY Height now !!!!!!!!!!
Cash went to school today because he wanted to go but his left
gland is still a bit swollen she said. Jack has had similar
problems with his glands over the years IF I remember correctly
!!!!!!!!!! Not seen Cash today ... just Greta ran up here after
school saying she was starving ... and pinched another of John's
bread rolls and I had to cut it open and butter it ... then off
she ran again ! Jack also popped up to use the computer for a
time and make himself a cup of cocoa !
All quiet now so I may as well go to bed and read. Luckily I
went to the library this arvo and got 4 books .... apparently I
HAVE NOT read them before according to the Library computer ...
but I have to say a couple of them looked slightly familiar
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: I do have to document this library stuff for future
reference !

It seems life has returned to normal at the Casey residences and
I bet you love every minute of it [emoji7]
I usually remember the books I have read and rarely get one and
realise I have read it before, But I know you have done so a few
times. You must find it so frustrating to not have access to a
choice of good reading material [emoji171]
