Lent

Tonight John is sitting inside here on his computer instead of
being outside on the deck drinking a beer and listening to the
radio or on his phone reading the news and stuff ! Why ?
.....well it is Ash Wednesday ....the start of Lent and once
again he has decided to stop drinking for Lent !!!!!!!!! He does
it most Lental times BUT it does not usually last long ....
Watch this space. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He also finds it hard to sleep IF he does not have a beer or two
because of that nightly habit !!!!!!!!! I Hope I CAN sleep
tonight !

I don't recall you mentioning John gives up drinking each Lent,
but whatever the reason, it will do him the world of good
[emoji4] Do you give up anything? I don't and haven't for many,
many years now.

Oh yes he does it regularly BUT it never lasts very long !!!
2nd night tonight and all quiet and peaceful and he is inside on
his laptop :) HE slept SO well last night too and NO loud snores
!!!! Just a few gentle ones.
Today he said he was surprised he slept ALL night and did not
even get up for the loo until the dog woke him at 8am
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a peaceful night :))))))))))

Well that's a bonus that he slept so well, I hope it continues
for him. Does he have a couple of beers every night?

YEs he does normally have 3/4 cans of beer sitting outside at
night ... used to be more but since he had that terrible time
after Joe, his mate in UK died.... he has stuck to 4 cans. Thank
goodness but he does snore well after 4 cans :)
Inside again tonight as it is wild and windy again, he is on his
laptop ....No sound !!!!!!!!!

Robert will have 3 beers some nights, but not every night like
he used to as he is trying to lose more weight and he drinks a
lot more water these days. He needs to as his kidney levels are
very low.

Well no beers tonight as he has gone out with 2 other blokes in
a 'Police Security' car to drive round the area ..... looking
for trouble ?????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS !
He signed up a couple of weeks ago and they came for him tonight
at 8pm to see how it goes and if he wants to do it on a regular
basis ....... no idea when he will be back but NOT LATE !!!
And I Hope they do keep out of trouble. I will know more when he
gets back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All Volunteers !
3 beers is OK as far as I know as long as they do not get
carried away and drink More !~!!! John has lost a fair bit of
weight with his log cutting ... and beer cut back :))))) John
always takes a bottle of water when he goes log cutting !

Yes, same thing ... says John :) Thats the name I tried to
remember from Perth :) Neighbourhood Watch.
They do need to drink water when outside ... especially in the
errrrr Sunshine if they can find any !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
