Sunday Dinner :)

Penny and Bonnie made Sunday dinner today, lovely roast pork and
roast potatoes along with roast pumpkin and sweet potato and
broccoli :) Also some sort of cheese sauce... ? and gravy :)
Rice pudding for dessert plus Alex brought some choc cake with a
lovely thick creamy top on it :) Yuuum :)
Beats cooking :)
Corey and Alex were invited but Corey has a bad cold so he
stayed home and Alex brought the baby 3 month old Luca and 2.4
years old Sadie with her :) Sadie is a menace once she got to
know us all but she was so funny and baby Luca 3+ months is
lovely and smiles a lot :)
It was a lovely dinner and we all had a nice time chatting :) I
had one glass of wine with dinner and I am now ready for bed
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is cold and blowing a gale again today with rain on and off
but the sky half an hour or so ago was fantastic so I got some
pics :)

How lovely, you didn’t have to cook and you had loads of
company, best bit you could just toddle of home after and enjoy
your peace 😁

Was the pork courtesy of Corey like yours? [emoji4] I like a
cheese sauce and make it myself, but never with a baked dinner
and gravy!!!!
I meant to ask you if Penny came down with Bonnie, how long will
she stay for? Must be lovely for her to have her daughter home
again [emoji7]

IT was a lovely evening and the glass of wine I had made me
sleep well :)))))))))))))))))) Yes, it was some of the Pork that
Corey got for us :)))))))))))))) And YES Chris ... it was lovely
to drive the car back done the drive and into the field to get
into my bed :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Penny came down for Auckland in her car with the suitcases and
Cash.... and Bonny came in the car she bought in Auckland ...
with foodstuff and Jack and Greta :) :)
Penny is going back home tomorrow morning. She has work on
Wednesday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, she is pleased they are back in NZ again !!!!!! Same
:))))))))))))))))))))

The car they had before they went to Abu Dhabi was rented for a
few weeks, when the one they owned they sold to a friend ! There
is also one in the garage up there gathering dust ... and it
does not go !!!!!!!!! Pass !

I didn't realise they had sold their car, but what is wrong with
the one in their garage?? It probably needs a new battery if it
hasn't been started for all that time.

The one here in the garage is the .. Toyota .. something ... but
it is quite old ! Dan used it once up on a time for his duck
shooting etc etc stuff :) He did have it up North in
Helensville. Matt did get it going last year .... once but now
it just sits under the open garage ! They sold the good car when
they went to Abu Dhabi !

Now I understand the need for Bonnie to buy a new car, you need

Hahaha exactly !!!! NO buses here in Waverley !!! Or trains :)
But we are on the main road South to Whanganui and Wellington
and West to New Plymouth or North to Auckland IF you have a
decent car :)
