Talking to Frankie ......

Just been on the phone talking to my Brother in Law Frank..
married to my sister Ange.( RIP ) in Northumberland UK :)
WE had a lovely chat and it was so nice to hear from him as he
rarely contacts us :)
He is well and he was still in bed as it was morning in UK !!!!
9:30AM UK and 10:30 NZ :)
I think he is bored and has sold off his garden allotment where
he has been growing lots of vegies and selling some of them
locally .... for many years ! Anyway it was lovely to hear from
him again and I will now go to bed .... late for me ......
thinking about him :)

How nice to hear from him and glad to hear he is well. Any
chance of him coming over to see you? What made him sell his
allotment? Perhaps it was getting too much for him?

We did invite Frankie to come visit us here and we also invited
him to stop over when he went to visit son Joseph in Perth .. a
couple of times .... but he just came with Ange once when we
lived in Helensville.
He sounded good and gave up his allotments when he was diagnosed
with ? some male cancer last year ? But he is all good now
after his treatment and being looked after by Angie's old nurse
mate.... Maureen in Newcastle :)

It's a shame he won't visit you again, but it is such a long
flight.
The only male cancer I know of is prostate!!!! Did you mention
this?

Frankie did not tell me WHAT kind of cancer it was ...... but
that is Frankie !!!!! I remember I DID ask him if it was
prostrate when he first mentioned he had a problem BUT he would
not say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a vague memory of Ange mentioning that she thought
Frankie had a prostate problem way back when John had his out
.... when we lived in Perth !!!

I would say it was prostate as a lot of men shy away from
mentioning it, you know manhood and all [emoji849] I am glad he
is ok now though, whatever the cancer [emoji4]

Ah well at least Frankie is still going and managing OK from
what he tells us :)

I am glad he is going well. I never had the chance to meet him
as when we went to Amble, both he and Ange were away on
holidays, shame really.

meet Ange when we visited you of course :)

Yes of course I met Ange a couple of times, when I went over
there and she was there too and when you both came here [emoji4]
We also used to message each other a fair bit.
