It has been cloudy all day here and quite breezy ... not cold
but not too warm and I Am still in my trackies and jumper ! It
says it is 25C and cloudy ... Here ????????????? Ridiculous John
is outside chatting to Corey and they both have jackets on and
it is NOT warm at all !!!!!!!!!!!
Who does the weather forecasts ????
I know nothing about the wind chill factor ........ plus there
is little or no wind on the covered part of the deck !

PS. Just asked John and Corey what they thought the temp. might
be outside under cover ....... they both said about 16/17C !

It was 40C here yesterday, a horrible day and I had the aircon
and the fan on in the bedroom when I went to bed, until we had a
power cut at 10pm!!!!!! The power can back on again about 4am.
Thank goodness the southerly came through about midnight and
cooled things down, today is much cooler and we are meeting Rab
and Gail for breakfast at 10am. Well it was supposed to 9am, but
as I didn't get up until 8, I asked if it could be later

Oh WOW.... I have been reading how HOT it has been where you are
and I don't know how you cope with it all except by staying
inside in the air con.. which would drive me nuts !!!![emoji170]
Pleased that you did get a Southerly to cool things down and it
is better today ! I hope you enjoy your breakfast with Rab and
Gail :) Even if it IS a late one : )))))))))))))))))
IT has been warm and humid here all day but blowing a wild but
cool wind all day and still blowing this evening ....... when I
got up at 9am this morning I put on my shorts and tee shirt
straight away ...... it had been warm all last night here too
and even tho. we had the new light weight Summer duvet on ...
John kicked it over on to me and I Was once again sweating cobs
in the middle of the night !!!

You know me, I am quite happy staying inside all day doing stuff
or listening to a good book. I am more like my Mum that way, she
was always content in her home reading or watching TV [emoji7]
I had scrambled truffle eggs on sourdough toast, but it had too
much truffle in it for me and I couldn't eat it all, it repeated
on me all day too!!!! I didn't eat anything else other than a
small bowl of ice cream later in the night.
It started raining last night, but it has stopped now and I hope
it doesn't rain again as it's Monday and I have my sheets and
towels to wash!!!!!!!

YOU sent your rain here last night ...on and off through the
night but I do not have to water the plants today !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I know you are quite happy at home and doing your inside
stuff and LISTENING to your books :))))))))))))))))) I love
laying on my bed in the afternoon and reading my books and did
it for an hour or so today till Annie rang with Sophia on John'
s phone :)))))))) Sophia is 4 weeks old (11th ) and tomorrow
13th Jan. is Anneliese's birthday ... ..... 44 tomorrow
!!!!!!!!!! Bugger how time flies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You HAVE mentioned Scrambled TRUFFLE eggs before but I DID have
to look it up again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never tried it YET
!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I do not have good taste buds due to the ??
Pills and I remember that is why I did not try it when you
talked about it before :)))))))))))))

It was a miserable day here yesterday with a drizzling rain on
and off all day, good for the garden though. The rain woke me up
this morning it was so heavy, Robert won't be pleased as he has
golf today at 10.30am!!!!!
How is Annie and Sophia? I am sure you mean Sophia will be 4
months old tomorrow [emoji7] Happy Birthday Annie

Bugger of course I meant Sophia was 4 MONTHS Old and NO I had
not been drinking !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I blame this stupid
computer it does all sorts of stuff................. OR am I
losing the plot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS !!!!

Quite a nice day here today so I went to Hawera shopping ....
pension day and I wore my trackies and a tee shirt
................ I was sweating cobs in Hawera and it was Hot
!!!! Got back here about 2:30pm and the wind was blowing madly
once again and now 9:15 PM it is COLD !!! 14C and I Might need
the blanket on tonight !
Poor Robert, but it is not the first time rain has stopped his
golf playing is it ???????????????

The rain cleared up and Robert went to golf, he said he played
the best round ever and proceeded to tell me his best
shots.........I am sure my eyes glazed over [emoji15][emoji23]
Now you can't blame your computer for putting 'weeks' instead of
months, sadly it must be you losing the plot [emoji12]
It must be just your little pocket of area that is cold wet and
windy all the time!!!!

OK I give in and it must be an ageing thing .... losing the plot
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RAIN was due today but we just had a long hard shower this arvo
then nothing BUT according to the forecast rain will be her
tomorrow now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL Over NZ ! Pass !
NO wind today .. just a wee breeze and it was not too cold
either :) Not quite Summer tho :(
