Christmas Gifts

After we went shopping yesterday for my new dress and sandals,
we went to Alex and Sammi's place to drop the kids presents off.
It was lovely to see them all again and the girls have certainly
grown and were happy to see us. I did forget to take photos
though, too busy chatting.
Zurie has done so well at school this year, she was in year 1
and received awards for being first in Geography, English and
Maths, she also won a scholarship for Music for next year
[emoji7] She loves school, I hope it continues for her.

That sounds like a lovely visit and such lovely news about Zurie

Sorry about no photos, but visiting the girls is like a
whirlwind, they are both chatting away and you have to try and
figure out which one spoke first!!!!!!!![emoji23] Zadie doesn't
have an off switch, she is full on!!!!!
Sammi looked well, she has lost a lot of weight though and that
worries me a bit that she is not eating well, but she was happy
to see us and gave me a big hug and told me she was glad I was
still here and not to die for a long time.

Yes those names are correct :) Zurie will be 8 next year in May
and Zadie is 4, 5 next year in March.
I don't think Sammi is drinking, I certainly couldn't smell it
on her like I used to be able to. I hope not for her and the
girls sake.

Yes Zurie is doing very well, apparently she loved her teacher
which also is a bonus. We will have to wait and see how she goes
with another teacher next year.
I too hope Sammi isn't drinking, but I don't believe she is.
