I am sure I Have mentioned it before.... the vegie shop down the
main road .. growing and selling their own vegies and local
stuff.
It re-opened today with a fancy playground for kids and a cafe
.. well a few tables and chairs and selling coffee and tea and
cold drinks :) NO food ATM. Nothing posh :)

I called in this arvo at around 3:30pm...( last day of school )
.. and was chatting to one of the teachers who was shopping and
said how Bonnie and kids most likely will be back in January....
SHE said OMG one more child in my class that makes it 32
!!!!!!!!!!!!! Greta' s age :)
The vegies were lovely and I got a Broccoli the size of a big
blown up balloon .. $2 and newly dug up pots, capsicums and a
celery all for $14:00:)))))))))))))

I'm not sure if you have mentioned it before, but the fruit and
vegetables look so good and by what you have said, the prices
are good too. I do love fresh fruit and vegetables, not like the
crap the big supermarkets sell!!!!!!

I KNOW I have mentioned the Rabbit Hutch ... last year when it
first opened up the road just outside Waverley on the main road
to Whanganui :)
Best shop around here for vegies and they are now going to sell
certain meats .... Joints and chops etc from local farmers :)
Used some of the broccoli tonight for dinner along with the
lovely new potatoes. Yuum along with the errrrrrrrrrrrrrr slow
cooked beef, gravy, onions and carrots :)

It sounds lovely, I too like veg and fruit from farm shops
rather than supermarkets, we are more limited here in North
Wales than we were in Yorkshire

If you have mentioned the Rabbit Hut I have forgotten about it
[emoji849] I would have had to buy a little of everything just
to see what it was like!! It will be good to get meat direct
from the farmers too, always tastes so much better [emoji4]

They only have meat on special days .. fresh from the local
farmer so they advertise it ........ and people go straight away
to buy it ! The eggs are local too from the shop farm and the
local hairdresser's husband's brother's chooks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I have mentioned the hairdresser's eggs before as I used to buy
my fresh eggs from the hair dresser... just down the road near
the school :)

That makes sense that they only have the meat on special days,
it would depend on when the local farmers have some.
Yes I do remember your hairdresser and you buying fresh eggs
from her, nothing better, is there than really fresh food
