Night Grass cutting !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we had Corey ( Next door ) cutting the paddock
grass..... and for the last hour or so Tonight about 9:pm ( It
is a Dark night ... ) we have had a BIG Grass Scooping machine
? making the grass into bales ...... and just now 10:pm along
comes another huge machine to put a plastic cover on all the
grass bales of Grass ? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PASS again and maybe it is time I went to bed !

Well the hay IS for animal feed and now there are 3 huge bales
wrapped in plastic outside our back kitchen window plus 5 in the
next paddock. Last year there were More Bales and there are
still 3 OLD wrapped bales at the end of the field !!!!!!!!!!
Interesting news what ????????????????????????
:)))))))))))))))))))
It has been pouring with rain this afternoon and evening too BUT
it is NOT Cold..... Phew :)

I wouldn't have been happy with that being done so late at
night!!!!!
Summer is here with a vengeance, it's been very hot the last few
days.

Hmm I suppose it was late at night but it was also interesting
to watch and hear !!!!!!!!!!! Corey did come to let us know what
was happening as that was the only time the machine was
available !
It is all nice and clean looking in the paddocks now and there
are about 20 cows and calves MOOING about the back paddock. AND
I Mean MOOING Out loud !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice and warm here today , perfect really and not too much wind
:) IN my shorts and tee shirt as I have not been anywhere :)

Not much Corey could do then if that was the only time the
machine was available. I was thinking it was after my
bedtime!!!!! You are usually still up at that time anyway.

I tend to go to bed around 10pm or even later IF I have had a
Nana nap !!!!!!!!!! OR I go earlier if I have no one to talk to
on here and have a decent book to read :)
The cows have gone to another field way over the back so we
cannot hear them now and all is quiet again :) BUT it is raining
hard again and even worse up North from what I read.
John has been flashing his torch outside along the deck and just
came in to say he has seen a Rat ......Brownie Grey and about 10
inches long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pass !

At least the cows won't keep you awake now they have been moved,
noisy buggers [emoji4]
I am in bed by 8.30pm usually and I am now getting back into
that routine again, which makes me feel more normal again.
As for the rat, we have them here too, small water rats usually.

John put down rat poisoning but earlier this evening he saw
another rat down the end of the deck !!! I have to make sure the
sliding doors / windows are closed now. Its quiet tonight and
not much wind but it is cold and has been chilly all day in my
estimation, been wearing my trackies, jumper and SOCKS too !
First Day of Summer I think they said !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back to your normal routine with your 8:30pm bedtime
:)))))))))))) Twirley for me :)
