We no doubt did have fires last year, we have fires every year,
we are surrounded by so much bush and gum trees and they are
very flammable.
It was a bit cooler in temperature here yesterday, but fairly
high humidity and it will be the same today [emoji20]

I read there was a fire in Taranaki today too .. a bit further
North of here !!!
Cooler here today too but NOT Humid :)))))))))))))))))) Mainly
cloudy with the odd bit of sunshine :)

Hopefully the fire will be quickly contained. It was much cooler
yesterday, no need for the air con or even the fan on, even last
night, much better [emoji4]

The local fire was started by some idiot !!!!

I hate to hear that, so many bush fires are deliberately

I do read about NSW and all the bush fires now even up near you
according to the maps I see !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also read that
Western Aus. is bad too ! That often got too hot for me when we
lived there and they did often have bush fires !!!
Nothing around here today and the fire alarm the other night was
for a health emergency thing !

Yes WA is copping it again. It seems there are a lot of grass
fires around too caused by lightening from the storms we have
had. I haven't heard how the big one just south of us started
yet.
What was the medical emergency?

I See Perth has more fires today too !!!!
All calm here and it is not even hot, not cold and little wind
even tho I have spent today in my shorts and tee shirt :) Not
been anywhere !!!!!!!!!!!!
NO idea re: the medical emergency siren ... thats all it said
..... Medical emergency !

It was quite hot here yesterday and Gail and Rab popped in to
see me, so that was nice [emoji4]
I was very tired yesterday, I guess after having two busy days,
it washes me out. I was in bed just after 8pm and I slept well
all night and up at 7am. I am slowly getting around and can make
my bed again and do a wee bit of housework, so that makes me
feel better at last.

Ah take your time doing housework.... and stuff or just leave it
!!!!!!! I didn't have a nan nap today as I was reading a book
instead !!!! I am ready for bed now 9:20pm !
I don't know how you CAN sleep from 8pm to 7am !!!
Talking of fires... there is one just down the road from
Waverley, down in the fields near the beach !! People living
nearby have been told to get ready to flee and come to Waverley
:)))))) I think we are safe here :)
There is also a wild fire near Whanganui too !!!! You would
think it was Summer ! It has been a bit dry the last couple of
days ... but not THAT hot !
