Kate sent me this today and said it could have been written by
her, she’s so sad and homesick at the moment.

IT came up perfectly clear and I Am sure I have read it before
..... :)
AS a kid we travelled with the RAF, different houses and
different Primary schools and then I went to boarding school age
11 ... got home sick in the begining but managed to cope and
enjoy it for 5 years ..... then travelled myself and moved on
from there all over the world and still moving in my old age
...!!
I Do miss Dan, Bon and the kids ATM.......SO in a way I can
understand Kate missing her home and family as she has obviously
not Settled ... far from her home and family really. BUT she
married an Aussie so they must both agree where they will live
:))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
AT least she has had a go living in Aus. and explored around the
country ... but IF she is missing her FAMILY ... then she is not
happy I am sure ((((((((((((((((((((((((((
Shame they have not had any kids !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending
love to them both and I Hope they enjoy their Christmas with you
all :)))))))))))))))))))

She’s been there 10 years, she was never that keen on Brisbane,
they were happy in Glenelg and would like to go back to SA, or
the UK both her and Steve are keen to come to the UK. It was
always hard saying goodbye after a visit but this time it was
different, she was in a right state going back and I think it
was because they had no ‘home’ to go back to, landing in
Adelaide, 2 days in a hotel and then a week on the road to
Noosa, then Airbnb in Brisbane for a month,eventually getting
the place there in now and getting their belongings and
furniture took another month, Steve’s not happy in his job, Kate
is bored in hers and none of them like where they are.
I wish they had children but I think that boats sailed now, I
also think they had a very long visit this time and with me now
living in North Wales meant they saw more family. It will work
out for them in the end

Aww what you say does make sense to me but why did they leave
Glenelg if they liked living there a while ago ? Did they go to
Brisbane for Steve's Dad ? I forget :(
Sadly life is too short so they should try and make a decision
how and where they would like to live .... can Steve get a job
in Wales or close area ?
It seems to me that they have been in this same predicament for
a good few years on and off ..... snice they met
................ where to live and where to work :(

It must be very heart breaking for you Chris, to know that your
daughter is so unhappy. I have no words of wisdom, just hope
that Kate and Steve work it all out.

We had a good FaceTime today and they look happier, looking
forward to coming here for Christmas

and find happiness :)
